Recovery Consultants of Atlanta RCA offers substance abuse, HIV/AIDS outreach, and other navigation services to citizens of metropolitan Atlanta

Recovery Consultants of Atlanta has several programs that provides assistance to people in recovery and outreach centering around HIV/AIDS. These programs include:

- Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI)
- Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program (HVRP)
- Coordinated Response to End HIV/AIDS Disparities (CREAD)
- Healthcare for Homeless Veterans to Homeless Female Veterans (HCHV-Female)
- Campus and Community HIV and Addiction Prevention (CCHAP) in conjunction with Morehouse School of Medicine
- Comprehensive HIV Prevention for Fulton/Dekalb Counties (CCHIP)
- Ryan White Psycho-social Support Services
- R-CHIPP targeted testing and linkage to care in Dekalb County
- New Access Point (NAP); HRSA
- HIV Capacity Building Initiative for Substance Abuse and HIV Prevention for youth and young adults (HIV CBI)

HIV is found in: blood, semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk. HIV is transmitted by sexual in*******se (vaginal, oral, and a**l), sharing needles, mother to her unborn child, blood transfusions, and through breastfeeding.

HIV is not transmitted by insect bites, toilet seats, touching, kissing, or sharing utensils.

Please stop by RCA M-F 9am-5pm to get free health literature on HIV/AIDS. Also if you have any additional questions please ask to speak with one of our counselors/testers.
