Ready to play at your edge and explore what’s possible?

In this 90-minute workshop, we’ll tap into the expansive energy of the element of air—this is the realm of our belief systems, and the power to shift our perspective. With this curious lens, we’ll explore a powerful arm balance Eka Pada Koundinyasana II (One-Legged Sage Pose).

Through targeted prep, intentional movement, and playful exploration, we’ll uncover the mechanics—and the mental patterns—that support this dynamic pose. Whether you’re brand new to arm balances or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll learn to move with clarity, playfulness, and freedom.

This isn’t about “nailing” the pose. It’s about opening into possibility, honoring the journey, and letting curiosity lead the way.

Let the winds of transformation lift you—come for the exploration, stay for the breakthroughs… and maybe even take flight.

Join us for the best of both worlds, restorative yoga + Thai yoga bodywork. Restorative yoga allows for more time to let go and relax into a supported pose, while Thai bodywork incorporates assisted stretching and elements of Thai massage, enhancing the physical, mental, & emotional benefits through the power of touch. Ahhh.

The whole body will get love, but our focus will be on the back of the body. This will include, but not be limited to, work on the calves, hamstrings, hips, back, & neck. Portions of the session will be lying on your front, your side, and your back.

This 2 hour 15 minute offering is a practice of slowing down, of inviting in additional sensation, space, and relief by exploring longer holds in the restorative yoga poses with the added element of deeply affirming and grounding Thai bodywork techniques added in. Bring your yoga mat and dress in layers.

Note: This event always sells out! So to support more of you, we are opening two back-to-back sessions. Be sure to sign up for the time slot you prefer. And, in order to offer more one-on-one time for the Thai Bodywork, space is limited to 14 yogis at each session. Sign up early to secure your spot!

You may recognize Maggie as one of our longtime FORM yoga students. Now—along with Desiree Nathanson—she is one of our new substitute teachers! Welcome to the teaching team Maggie!

Maggie has been teaching yoga since 2018. After dealing with a literal pain in her ass (glute), Maggie dove deeper into anatomy and proprioception, which helped her learn to engage muscles differently and support her practice better. Her focus in classes is intentional awareness of the body and its mechanisms. She likes to adapt classes to meet the needs of her students in the room at that moment and often takes requests at the top of class.

Meet Abdias Castro, the final of our three new teachers to debut on our fall schedule! Abdias brings warmth and sincerity to every class, weaving them into his paced, flow-based teaching. Please join us in giving Abdias a very warm welcome!

Abdias will be teaching each Monday 8:30am Flowing Form.

Abdias Castro is a passionate yoga instructor, creative spirit, and wellness advocate rooted in community and intention. With a background in experiential marketing and social media strategy, Abdias blends mindful movement with storytelling to create yoga experiences that are grounding, liberating, and deeply human.

His classes are known for their soulful playlists, inclusive language, and gentle yet empowering flows. Whether guiding students through a slow flow or an energizing vinyasa, Abdias creates space for self-reflection, joy, and healing—on and off the mat.

Trained in various modalities including vinyasa, yin, hatha, and meditation, Abdias teaches across Atlanta and holds space for people of all identities, bodies, and levels. His work is rooted in equity, authenticity, and the belief that yoga is for everyone.

When he’s not teaching, Abdias works as a creative producer for BET, BET+, and VH1, and leads projects that celebrate Black culture and amplify marginalized voices.

We are so excited to introduce you to the second of our newest teachers, Daryn Jackson! Please join us and giving her a very warm welcome. 💞

Daryn will be teaching:
Sunday 6pm Rest & Restore
Thursday 10:30am Flow & Let Go

A Nashville native and brand new Atlanta resident, Daryn’s path to teaching yoga winds through life as a theater artist, community organizer, facilitator, and injury-prone adventure lover. She began practicing as a high school student and dove into vinyasa in earnest in college. After a decade of steady practice, she earned her 200 hour certification under Johnna Smith through Grow Yoga School in Nashville in 2012. A hip injury that year, which required surgery to repair, prompted her surgeon to say, “Your hips were not designed for yoga, you should try swimming.” She decided to open a yoga studio, instead.

It was there, at Unity Yoga Room in Mount Juliet, TN, that Daryn learned how a yoga studio can become a sacred home for connection and growth; where you can bring your most honest self, drop into your practice, and find your way back home in a room full of others doing the same. During those transformative years, she went on to pursue training and certifications in trauma-informed yoga nidra and meditation, adaptive yoga for seniors and injuries, yoga philosophy and neuroscience, restorative yoga, yin yoga, and studied under such notable teachers as Michael Johnson, Bryan Kest, and Gillian St. Clair.

As a yoga instructor with a parallel life as a writer, theater artist, and comedian, Daryn brings a sense of playfulness and curiosity to her classes. You can expect a steady, safe practice with creative sequencing, carefully curated playlists, time to sit and meditate, and likely a poem or two in her classes. She borrows this mantra from activist and movement strategist, adrienne maree brown: “Trust the small. The small is all. Move at the speed of trust.”

Our brand new fall schedule starts Sept 7 and we are so excited!
⬇️⬇️⬇️
We have shifted a few teachers & classes, added 2 new weekly classes! Plus, we are over-the-moon excited to introduce our three new teachers at FORM yoga!

First up, meet Lisa Wolff! Lisa will be teaching:
✨Mondays 10am Slow & Steady
✨Tuesdays 10:30am Flowing Form

Lisa is a creator, advocate, and dedicated learner. Two beloved friends separately introduced Lisa to yoga at a time when Lisa was a very stressed public defender representing individuals facing the death penalty throughout Georgia. Yoga proved to be a profoundly healing and transformative practice that has helped Lisa live with more integrity, mutuality, and reverence for our interconnectedness.

A student first, Lisa is honored to share what they have learned from their many incredible teachers. Lisa’s mission in life, and as a teacher, is to move the needle forward toward collective liberation. Part of this mission is a strongly held belief that there is no “right” way to do just about anything, including practice yoga. Lisa aspires to create a class environment in which students feel safe to explore and honor whatever their bodies/minds/spirits need each time they show up to practice. Each class is intelligently sequenced with specific intention on breath, making space, and accessibility.

Lisa earned a 200hr certification in Hatha Yoga with Tough Love Yoga in 2020, a 200hr certificate in Integrative Vinyasa Yoga in 2023, a Jivamukti 75hr Spiritual Warrior Certification in 2024, and a 300hr Jivamukti Certification in 2025. Lisa will complete an additional 300hr advanced teacher certification in March 2026! Outside of teaching yoga, they love to dance, paint, knit/crochet, read, play board games, race time with their rubik’s cube, hike, and bike around town. Lisa is true to most stereo-types about a cancer sun/Capricorn moon and is equal parts playful and serious. Above all, Lisa loves to spend time with their family, especially their wife and two dogs: Rico and Professor Fernando.
