Welcome to The Organic Mom! As a mother-daughter duo, our business began to form in 2012 when I, Deidre, gave birth to my baby girl. As I began researching different commercial baby products I was having a difficult time sourcing one that would fit our family's lifestyle. I wanted something with minimal ingredients and no harmful chemicals. Therefore, the ideas began.....
My mom, Jenny, had begun studying to become a Certified Master Herbalist. Through her coursework and my need for a safe infant product we began brainstorming for what we hoped would one day become our own business. Our first product came from my need for a safe diaper rash cream since conventional ones did not fit my strict criteria. Hence, "Tinley's Salve" was created. From this creation, my mom has come up with an entire skincare line for not just babies, but members of the entire family! All the products are handmade with the highest quality ingredients we can find. We strive to use smaller businesses as much as possible to support those who want to help others as we do. Due to the lack of preservatives used in our products the shelf lives are shorter than commercial products but give our customers the peace of mind knowing they are using a safe product that will not leave lasting effects on their little one's body.
