We will celebrate the darkness while we wait for the Sun to return, this is the time to gather and come together as a community. The dark doesn’t have to mean fear, anxiety, loneliness, or sadness if we are together. Let’s nurture our hearts with love.


During the Winter Solstice Cacao Ceremony, we will use cacao to connect with mother earth for grounding, to be present in this time of life with a year that is coming to an end.


We will create a sacred space together with flowers and herbs and burn pieces of paper with words that represent situations that we don’t want to carry into next year. We will leave in the dark what doesn’t belong to us anymore.
In this Cacao Ceremony we use Cacao that comes directly from the ground and is brought to us after being harvested by many loving hands in Guatemala.

Nataly Baiz: Nataly's passion for Cacao Ceremonies was activated by her Venezuelan roots where Cacao grows wild in the coast of Choroni, Venezuela and is exported to the finest Chocolate makers in Europe. She discovered the power of Cacao and has since been drinking it daily to recharge with energy, love, meditation, and yoga. Nataly has trained with Keith’s Cacao team and is offering Cacao Ceremonies to share the healing properties of this “Food of the Gods” with others. For her, making Cacao is like cooking for the family where you put all the love in the preparation.

Join Corinne Chaves for the Qi Gong Level 1 Teacher Certification Program! If you are a qi gong student looking to step into the role of teacher, a current teacher looking to deepen their practice, OR are curious about qi gong and wanting to intimately study the various forms, THIS IS FOR YOU!

Corinne is an expert teacher with many, many years of study and practice. Corinne spent 5 years as a “wandering Taoist”, including a year in China, studying Qigong and Tai Chi.
In 2011 Corinne received a gold medal for Sanfeng Tai Chi Sword and a silver medal for Ba Duan Jin (8 Pieces Brocade) qigong at the 5th International Wudang Tai Chi competition in Hubei Province, China.

Don't forget to register for Corinne's free information sessions: Saturday, December 12th from 12-1pm or Thursday, January 5th from 10:30-11:30am! During these information sessions, you will learn more about the program, get a chance to meet Corinne and ask any questions you may have, and mingle with other potential trainees!

The teaching of Reiki outside of Japan is commonly divided into three levels, or degrees, Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2 and Reiki Master. Traditional Japanese Reiki was taught intensively under Usui's guidance, with weekly meditation meetings where Reiki was given and used to scan the body in order to supply an energetic diagnosis, which is known in Japanese as Byosen-hō, as a Japanese Reiki treatment is intuitive and specifically directed in comparison to a Western Reiki treatment, which tends to generally treat the whole body instead of specific areas.

First degree (Level 1) - Duration 8 hours

The first-degree Reiki course, sometimes given the Japanese name of Shoden ("初伝" in Japanese, meaning "'Elementary/Entry Teachings"), teaches the basic theories and procedures. A number of "attunements" are given to the student by the teacher. Students learn hand placement positions on the recipient's body that are thought to be most conducive to the process in a whole-body treatment. Having completed the first-degree course, a Reiki practitioner can then treat himself and others with Reiki. Course duration is dependent on the Reiki Master Teacher.

November 8th brings us the FINAL eclipse of the year and it is stationed in Ta**us! We can anticipate the heightened intensity of the eclipse with the addition of themes surrounding material comforts and hidden emotions via Ta**us. Eve will use a combination of gongs, wind chimes, a rainstick and other instruments to channel the energy of the moon and help us connect more deeply to the natural lunar cycle.

November will consist of events curated to honor, balance, and nurture your Self as well as the divine! We have some incredible guest facilitators joining us in this month of November - we are honored to have them with us to share their deep knowledge, care, and years upon years of experience in their field.

Tenzin Lama, Tibetan Buddhist Monk, and Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner, will be joining us at the end of November (through mid-December) for private Reiki sessions, a Silent Retreat, and REIKI TRAINING SESSIONS in which you can become a Reiki Practitioner!

More information about each of the levels:

First degree (Level 1)

The first-degree Reiki course, sometimes given the Japanese name of Shoden ("初伝" in Japanese, meaning "'Elementary/Entry Teachings"), teaches the basic theories and procedures. A number of "attunements" are given to the student by the teacher. Students learn hand placement positions on the recipient's body that are thought to be most conducive to the process in a whole-body treatment. Having completed the first-degree course, a Reiki practitioner can then treat himself and others with Reiki.

Second degree (Level 2)

In the second-degree Reiki course, sometimes given the Japanese name of Okuden ("奥伝" in Japanese, meaning "Inner Teachings"), the student learns the use of a number of symbols that are said to enhance the strength and distance over which Reiki can be exerted. This involves the use of symbols to form a temporary connection between the practitioner and the recipient, regardless of location and time, and then to send the Reiki energy.

Another attunement is given, which is said to further increase the capacity for Reiki to flow through the student, as well as empowering the use of the symbols. Having completed the second level, the student can work without being physically present with the recipient - a practice known as "distant healing".

Reiki Master Degree (2-Day Training)

Through the third degree, or "master training”, sometimes given the Japanese name of Shinpiden ("神秘伝" in Japanese, meaning "Mystery Teachings"), the student becomes a Reiki Master. Having completed the master training, the new Reiki Master can attune other people to Reiki and teach the three degrees.

Each session will include a vegetarian lunch, light snacks, and tea!
