Hello! 👋 My name is Morgan and I am the owner of Rilling Family Chiropractic. As I reestablish my practice in Decorah it feels like a good time to introduce myself and share a little about my chiropractic journey.
In 2023 I closed my practice in Seattle. My husband sold his restaurant. We bought a house sight unseen. Our son Hendrik was born and two months later we were Midwest bound to live closer to family.
I am from Decorah and grew up enjoying all that makes this town a truly special place: from running the Elveløpet each year, to floating the Upper Iowa River, and enjoying rømmegrøt at every family holiday. We love Decorah and couldn’t be more happy to raise our son here!
Chiro background:
I earned a BA in Biology at the University of Northern Iowa. I spent the next 3 1/3 years studying at Palmer College, the fountainhead and leader in chiropractic education. During my time at Palmer I was actively involved as an intern in the Sports Rehab Department, gaining additional experience caring for athletes. The last trimester of chiropractic school I spent doing an internship with Charlie Norwood VA Hospital in Augusta, GA where I provided chiropractic care to a more complex patient population. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015. Most of my continued education since graduation has been through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, advancing my care for pediatric and pregnant patient populations.
I have been in practice as a chiropractor for almost 9 years. My first associateship was on Bainbridge Island, WA, and my second was a multidisciplinary clinic within Seattle. In both clinics I saw a wide range of patients including working professionals, pregnant women, kids, and athletes. I opened the first location of Rilling Family Chiropractic in 2019 in the heart of Seattle, renting a space within Queen Anne Natural Health, a holistic multidisciplinary clinic. I love working with providers of all specialties and feel multidisciplinary collaboration is at the heart of patient centered care.
In addition to being a chiropractor, I am a wife, mother, foodie, nature enthusiast, board gamer, runner, and baker.
