Let’s talk about frequency of treatment! I often get asked “how often should I come?” And while I think the answer is often nuanced, in an ideal world when we start working on something new, 1-2x a week is great!
Phase 1 care is for either when we’re just starting out working together or something new or acute comes up for you. This is where we see each other either 1x week or 2x week to get symptoms under control. Once you can either return to daily activities, have 1-2 menstrual cycles without symptoms or are just plain happy with where things are - then we start spacing them out (more slides to come!!)
✨This can either be through restoring proper qi and blood flow through an injured area - sprained ankles, frozen shoulder (which I LOVE treating btw), low back pain/injuries, neck pain, tennis/golfers elbow, etc
✨Regulating the nervous system when facing periods of increased stress, anxiety or changes that are feeling big
✨Gearing up for allergy season or getting seasonal allergies under control
✨ Perimenopause or menopausal symptoms (esp if they are disrupting your sleep)
✨ Headaches + migraines
✨ Menstrual issues
✨ Labor prep - begins at week 36 if baby is breech, week 37 otherwise
Phase 1 is all about symptom relief and getting input quickly to make big change fast.
