Riverside Community Care's four Clubhouses recently joined the Massachusetts Clubhouse Coalition's 2026 Employment Celebration at the State House — and each had an employer to honor.

Clubhouses provide adults living with mental health challenges with the community, skills, and support to find and keep meaningful work. These employers make that possible.

• Horizon House (Wakefield) honored The Home Depot in Reading
• Crossroads Clubhouse (Hopedale) honored the Marshalls in Franklin
• Neponset River House (Norwood) honored the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, Canton Site Office
• Elliot House (Needham) honored the Newton Free Library

Thank you to these employers for opening doors and building a more inclusive workforce — one job at a time.

What an incredible time at in Denver this week! Kimberly Fisher, Amie Sica, and Julie Greiner-Ferris presented on the power of peer-clinician co-facilitation in interdisciplinary care, and Kimberly and Stephanie Smith shared their work on data-driven strategies in value-based care. Beyond the presentations, our team spent time connecting with behavioral health leaders from across the country — learning, exchanging ideas, and contributing to the national conversation on behavioral health. So proud of this group. 💙

We're proud to highlight a significant contribution to the field of trauma research from two members of the Riverside clinical team!

Clinicians Collin Nelson and Zach Pierce from our Community Behavioral Health Center in Milford recently published research in Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging, identifying, for the first time, a specific brain structure linked to PTSD across different types of traumas — and another that may signal resilience to developing PTSD.

Collin and Zach connect these findings directly to the therapeutic work they provide every day — a powerful reminder that the care happening in our clinics is grounded in, and contributing to, the best available science. Congratulations to both on this well-deserved recognition!

A new report from SOS Signs of Su***de, a service of Riverside Community Care, developed in partnership with the men’s personal care brand Harry's, takes a close look at mental health among workers in fishing, construction, and mining across New England.

The findings are sobering — isolation, stigma, and dangerous working conditions contribute to elevated risks of su***de and substance use in these industries. But workers also told us what helps: peer support, leadership that takes mental health seriously, and care that reflects the real demands of their jobs.

There is a path forward. And building workplaces where people feel seen, valued, and able to ask for help is work worth doing.
