Each year Riverside Community Care provides more than 40,000 children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of behavioral healthcare and human services. We offer mental healthcare, developmental and brain injury services, youth and early childhood programs, addiction treatment, trauma response, and more. And our work includes partnerships with local hospitals, physicians, and schools. You can count on Riverside when you or someone you know needs help. A new path to recovery starts here. Riverside's new Structured Outpatient Addiction Program (SOAP) is a short-term, intensive day treatment program designed to support recovery from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Operating 100% virtually, SOAP meets 5 days a week from 10:00am-1:30pm, making comprehensive care accessible from wherever you are. Whether you're transitioning from higher levels of care or seeking compassionate outpatient support, SOAP provides personalized treatment planning, group counseling, recovery coaching, and more. From biopsychosocial assessments to aftercare planning, we're here to support sustained wellness.

Proud to see our own Lisa Roth (CPS, PMH-C) featured in The New York Times article exploring the need to add postpartum psychosis to “Psychiatry’s Bible,” the D.S.M. Lisa draws on her lived experience with postpartum psychosis to advocate for the D.S.M. to officially recognize this condition—a critical step that would drive greater awareness, expanded research, and dedicated funding for maternal mental health.

Recovery Coaches: strengthen your ethical decision-making skills! Join us for CCAR Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches, a 16-hour virtual training on February 23-24, 2026. Participants will learn how to navigate daily challenges, apply ethical guidelines to Recovery Coaching, and more.

This 30-hour dynamic, interactive virtual training provides the skills needed to guide and support anyone who would like to begin or sustain long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol or other drugs.
