Our entire community came together to kick-off the new school year with excitement and support. Residents, families, and staff enjoyed assembling 50 backpacks filled with supplies, donated to the Dedham Food Pantry to help local students start the year ready to learn. To show our gratitude to local educators, we also delivered enormous baskets brimming with goodies for faculty to Riverdale and Blessed Sacrament Schools - honoring their dedication and hard work. Wishing everyone a safe and happy school year!

Our evening at Venezia in Dorchester was a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Residents savored fresh seafood and pastas as well as the ripe tomatoes, fragrant basil, and creamy mozzarella of the Caprese salad ... all while taking in the iconic view of the city skyline and Boston Harbor.

Our community came together to pickle cucumbers, carrots, green beans, and beets celebrating the late-summer tradition with a splash of purple. Purple is the official color of Alzheimer's Awareness, so together we raised awareness, funds, and plenty of smiles in support of this important cause. We enjoyed an engaging art lecture by Joyce Creiger, who shared her expertise and insights from years of curating contemporary art. Our Tropical Paradise Party was pure island magic with live music, beach ball volleyball, and many laughs! Residents sipped colorful tropical cocktails and enjoyed grilled pineapple appetizers while soaking up the tiki bar vibes. From start to finish, it was a little slice of paradise right here at Traditions.
