Our resident spelling competition was a huge success, with eight residents competing through an impressive nine rounds of challenging words. The competition came down to the final word – neurophysiology – showcasing incredible focus, memory, and determination from all participants. Congratulations to resident Jim for being the last one standing – such an outstanding achievement!

Our Holistic Healthy Spa Day was a beautiful blend of relaxation and learning, featuring meditation, tips to longevity, green teas, fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies, soothing hand massages, and countless moments of tranquility. Our residents took a joyful trip back in time with classic arcade games like Pac-Man and pinball, and they truly had a ball. Our Robert Burns poetry reading here at Traditions was a spirited event of verse, tradition, and good cheer. Chris Steward set the tone in full kilt, delivering Burns' poetry in rich Scottish brogue while residents sipped Scotch and soaked in the moment. Delicious smoked Salmon on toast points rounded out the experience, making it a gathering that felt both cozy and celebratory.

Congratulations go out to Chantal, our January Associate of the Month. Chantal has been working as a server at Traditions of Dedham for over eigtht years. During this time she has endeared herself to both residents and staff. Her kindness, warmth, willing attitude, and genuine concern for everyone she meets spreads joy throughout the community.
