Ligia's Post Kidney Transplant Journey This page is dedicated to our mom Ligia 'Lee' Bustillo. She received a kidney transplant after almost 5yrs of peritoneal dialysis. God bless.

Now at 80yrs young she's trying to make the best of what is left to come in this life. 💚 This page is dedicated to our mom. She suffered from chronic kidney disease and failure. She was in need of a kidney transplant like many others suffering from chronic kidney failure. Her children were not matches but in July of 2020, she got that call from the hospital that a viable kidney had become available!! Mom means the world to us, her grandchildren, children in law, and everyone that she has touched. Now that she is recovering from her transplant, she wants to pay it forward and provide tips, recipes, support and motivation to anyone who is receiving PD or even hemodialysis and on the transplant list.
