Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

It was 🌮 Taco Friday 🌮 at school today.

PTSO provided a taco bar and cookies for faculty and staff to help celebrate. We served cold drinks in coolers purchased by PTSO as well.

Thank you, Lakeland teachers, for all you do for our students! 🥰

Dear Parents, Teachers, and Staff,

We regret to inform you that the position of President within the Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) is currently vacant. This role is essential to the continued operation and success of our organization, and we are seeking to fill it as soon as possible.

Due to the urgency of this matter, an emergency PTSO meeting has been scheduled for May 8th at 4:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the school, and all members and interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the future of the PTSO and to identify a candidate willing to step into the President role. Without immediate leadership, the organization faces the possibility of dissolution.

Your participation and support are critical during this time. We hope to come together to ensure the continuation of the PTSO and its valuable contributions to our school.

If you are interested in the President position or would like more information prior to the meeting, please do not hesitate to reach out.

We are pleased to announce that board member elections will be held for the upcoming term.

The following positions are open for nomination:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer

All active members in good standing are eligible to run and vote.

Important Dates:

• PTSO Monthly Meeting: March 19, 2026 6pm Lakeland Elementary Library
-Nominations, voting and results will take place during this meeting.

If you are interested in serving, please submit nomination by emailing newman.addie@gmail.com with a brief statement of interest.

Voting instructions will be shared with eligible members prior to the election.
