Located in Deer Lodge, MT, our hospital serves as a primary, full service medical center to communities throughout the Deer Lodge Valley. Deer Lodge Medical Center is a 501(c)3, certified, critical access hospital that serves Powell County and the outlying communities. Our 16 bed facility encompasses modern technology with a home style care that creates a healing environment of kindness, compassion and courtesy. At Deer Lodge Medical Center, we believe in providing quality health care to all we serve and encompass a type of healing environment that focuses on treating the whole patient. We believe that when it comes to a person's health, there are many aspects of healing. In treating the patient as a whole - not just treating the disease or illness - we can truly focus on healing. The services offered at Deer Lodge Medical Center include: 24 hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, a family practice clinic Monday - Friday, general surgery, physical therapy, chiropractor services, public health, mental health, laboratory and imaging services including mammography.

Greetings from Deer Lodge Medical Center,

As 2025 comes to a close, we are beginning to see a rapid increase in the number of positive Influenza cases, Covid cases, and RSV.
These are all highly contagious and we want to remind you to please make sure that you are receiving the immunizations that your provider recommends.

Please make sure you are washing your hands, staying hydrated, eating well and getting plenty of rest. Vitamin C and Zinc are a simple and cheap supplement you can add to your daily routine to help your immunity.

As the weather is finally acting like it is Winter in Montana, please make sure that when you are walking outside to take your time, watch for ice, keep your hands out of your pockets, and take slow calculated steps.
