I usually go big and make a full gallon (it lasts us a year 😅).

✨ What’s in it:
•Lots of ginger + turmeric root
•Green onion, garlic bulb, red onion
•6–7 jalapeños, 2 lemons, 2 limes
•Cilantro (or coriander)
•Horseradish root (or jarred)
•Rosemary, thyme, cayenne, whole cloves, peppercorns
•Optional: star anise, cardamom, fennel seed, cinnamon sticks

🫙 How to make it:
Chop everything up, cover with apple cider vinegar, add 1–2 cups of honey, and store in a dark spot for a month (shake every so often).
Then strain, refrigerate, and shake before using.

Take a shot daily for immune support or when you’re sick — it’s amazing for fighting off colds, inflammation, and pain. 🌿🔥

🥛 Why Dairy Might Not Be the Best Choice for Diabetics

If you have diabetes or insulin resistance, what you eat and drink can directly impact blood sugar and insulin levels — and dairy might be more of a problem than you think.

🚫 Why dairy can be a problem:

1️⃣ Blood Sugar Spikes
•Milk contains lactose (milk sugar), which breaks down into glucose and galactose — raising blood sugar quickly.

2️⃣ The Protein Trap
•Dairy proteins — especially whey — have an unusual effect on your pancreas.
•Whey contains amino acids that mimic insulin’s structure and stimulate the pancreas to release extra insulin, even without high carbs.
• This means your body reacts as if you just ate a carb-heavy meal — causing insulin surges, energy crashes, and making blood sugar control harder for those with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes.

3️⃣ Inflammation & Gut Stress
•Dairy can trigger inflammation in sensitive individuals, which reduces insulin sensitivity.
•It may also disrupt gut health, which plays a key role in metabolic balance.

4️⃣ Hormonal Load
