“As all of you know Casey was in the hospital back in March for the infection in his bone. Well during that stay we learned that he was born with a rare genetic condition where his white blood cells don’t work like they should. His little body isn’t able to fight bacterial or fungal infections. He has been on several medications to help prevent any serious infections for the last couple of months. Fortunately, there is a cure.
With that being said we are being admitted to the hospital this week to begin chemotherapy for his bone marrow transplant. We will be in the hospital for about 4-6 weeks.
We are nervous, scared, worried all of the above. He is resilient and so strong & I know he will be just fine. Luckily we are blessed with the best support system. Please keep our family & our sweet Casey boy in your prayers. 🤍”
