🇺🇸 Fitness & Freedom 🇺🇸in the Capital! Mixed doubles for the FaM. A PR for Pam & Armand and Coach Tim’s first HYROX run. Let’s just say the coach’s heat was SO OLD, the entire field wore shirts and has taped up body parts 🤣🤣!

It’s almost time for these two to hit the floor again!!!!!! Stay tuned……

Earlier this year we lost a FaM member and dear friend. Today we all came together with to celebrate his life the only way he would want us to; His favorite race: Bluepoint Brewery 10 mile Run and some post race beer. Johnny, we love you and miss you and hope you’re running and beering on the other side.

Merry Fit- Mas to you from the FaM! Hope Santa brought you all the bikes he could deliver! 🎅🏻🎄

The FaM likes to highlight life achievements as well as athletic ones. Here is Rosanna, who started running and Hyroxing with us this year and is now a two-time Stevie Award Winner ✨

She was first recognized last year for her entrepreneurial venture as a first-generation Latina building Wild Vines Marketing from the ground up.

We are ecstatic to share that she recently has been honored as a 2025 Stevie® Award Winner in the Women Helping Women – Business category.🌍 This category celebrates women who succeed and bring other women along with them.

Congratulations on bringing home the Bronze Hardware! Prof that hard work all around pays dividends.

Every week it just keeps getting better! First, Ridge took on and smashed IRONMAN 70.3 Portugal; I mean look at that smile! Matty B. Nailed his Detroit Marathon 26.2 plan, congratulations Matt on your first of many! Coach Tim keeping his base endurance by cranking out a casual 50 mile ride and Coach Dani meeting up with the OG’s Bobby and Kenny for 10 miles of trails! There’s still more to go in 2025, keep rocking FaM!

Races aren’t always sunshine and rainbows and don’t always end in award. We race to find the REWARD. Chris tore his Achilles two years ago during Ironman training. After surgical repair and a few yess of building up strength and endurance again, he chose to raise money as a charity partner for the Pat Tillman Foundation. Chris had a successful run training season and had a fantastic race. It didn’t go exactly as we hoped when his Achilles started to nag him around mile 22. He made it through the finish maybe with a bruised ego but mostly with a full heart. When you run for a charity it changes the purpose. Chris, we are proud of you and grateful for your contributions toward ! Meagan hasn’t really raced since her Ironman World Championship in Nice, France Last year , but each year she honors her commitment to the Army 10 Mile Run in Washington, DC. She had a great run! We are looking forward to what Chris and Meagan have up their sleeves for 2026! Way to go FaM!

This weekend was a staple race in the Long Island endurance community. The Cedar Creek (Brands) Fall Duathlon. It held a little different meaning this year, we lost a very dear RaDFaM member and friend, John. He LOVED our gear, loved to race and loved to support his friends. This one was for you Johnny! The girls raced and some brought home the hardware for you. Congratulations to Flo for 🥉3AG, Ginny with 🥈2nd in her Division, Andrea for making her way back home, and to Christine on her first ever duathlon!

The weekend was SO good, it took days to write about it! Armand, Pam and Luda and crew hit the heat in Augusta for Ironman 70.3. Coach Frank was there with our friend Dena and kept us updated all day! Everyone did a fantastic job in the heat and on the hills! Joey and Jared had a sweet PR at HYROX Boston; all the running really pays off! Rob took 4AG in his first Olympic triathlon at the Waterman’s Triathlon Festival! Looking so pro out there FaM! Congratulations to all!

This weekend was high energy racing! Lizzie became the “Fastest Frayler,” (you’ll have to ask her about that nickname) at The Great Cow Harbor 10k, which was her first 10k race and also smashed our time goal by 5:00!!!! We can’t wait to see what race she picks next! Out in Washington state, we had Dave who is coming off of a few injuries and had a fantastic race given some brutal winds, a bit of rain and well you know, Ironman…. Kristin also raced IM TRICITIES; she toes the line at a 70.3 each year with her dad, she’s dubbed the annual affair the Father/ Daughter dance. She doesn’t race this one for time, she races for passion; something she shares for triathlon with her dad. No matter the journey, we are here step by step, one foot in front of the other. Congratulations to ALL!
