Races aren’t always sunshine and rainbows and don’t always end in award. We race to find the REWARD. Chris tore his Achilles two years ago during Ironman training. After surgical repair and a few yess of building up strength and endurance again, he chose to raise money as a charity partner for the Pat Tillman Foundation. Chris had a successful run training season and had a fantastic race. It didn’t go exactly as we hoped when his Achilles started to nag him around mile 22. He made it through the finish maybe with a bruised ego but mostly with a full heart. When you run for a charity it changes the purpose. Chris, we are proud of you and grateful for your contributions toward ! Meagan hasn’t really raced since her Ironman World Championship in Nice, France Last year , but each year she honors her commitment to the Army 10 Mile Run in Washington, DC. She had a great run! We are looking forward to what Chris and Meagan have up their sleeves for 2026! Way to go FaM!
