Applied Behavior Partners has officially begun the credentialing process with Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare as we continue expanding access to services for families in our community.

In the meantime, we are currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and accepting new patients.

This has been a long-held dream, and I’m incredibly thankful for the support, encouragement, and belief from so many along the way. Join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest Behavior Technician, Kaydence! We’re thrilled to have her and excited to work alongside her.

Hi, I’m Kaydence Smith, a proud 2025 Honors graduate from San Jacinto College with an Associate’s in Social and Behavioral Sciences. My passion lies in psychology, particularly using it to make a positive impact on others. I’m continuing my education at the University of Houston–Main Campus, where I’m majoring in Psychology with aspirations to pursue their Doctor of Psychology program.

Outside of academics, I love spending quality time with my friends, family, and my furbaby. I also enjoy learning new line dances and am a Disney enthusiast—always planning my next trip to the happiest place on Earth!

🌟 Meet Our Founder & Clinical Director 🌟

We are proud to introduce Jourdan Sexton, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, the Clinical Director and Owner of Applied Behavior Partners.

Jourdan has been dedicated to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2016, with experience providing care in-home, in-clinic, and through remote services. Her educational journey began with an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, followed by a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. She is now in her third year of her Doctoral Program in Behavioral Health at ASU, with an expected graduation date in Fall 2026.

Over the years, Jourdan has worked across Texas, New Jersey, and Georgia, collaborating closely with professionals from multiple disciplines to provide comprehensive support for children and families. A Louisiana native, she moved to Deer Park, Texas eight years ago—where she built her career, met her husband, and grew her family.

Now, Jourdan is excited to bring her knowledge, compassion, and commitment to high-quality therapy to the Deer Park community through Applied Behavior Partners. 💙
