At Lifeskills, Easter offered a meaningful moment to reflect on hope, renewal, and new beginnings.

Across our community, the partnership between clients and staff continues to be at the heart of everything we do. Through compassion, respect, and support, we create a space where healing and growth can truly happen.

We loved coming together to create Easter baskets—a simple yet meaningful activity that highlighted the creativity, care, and connection shared within our community.

This season reminded us to celebrate progress in all its forms, both big and small. We hope everyone had a great Easter!

Yesterday, we had the honor of gathering together for a meaningful Passover dinner as part of our Lifeskills Behavioral Health Jewish Program.

Passover is a time of reflection, connection, and renewal — and sharing this tradition as a community made the evening especially meaningful. From storytelling to shared meals, it was a beautiful reminder of the importance of culture, belonging, and coming together.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make the evening so special and to the individuals who shared in this experience with us.

Chag Sameach from all of us at Lifeskills!

Applying IFS in Complex Clinical Settings: Working with Severe Mental Illness and Families will explore how clinicians can thoughtfully use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model when working with high-acuity populations, including individuals experiencing psychosis, suicidality, and chronic emotional dysregulation.

Led by Jennifer Hounshell, LMFT, QS (EMDR-, IFS-, and TF-CBT-trained), this session will offer practical strategies, case examples, and clinical adaptations to support safe and effective use of IFS — while also incorporating families as key partners in care.

Attendees will earn 1.5 CE credits while expanding their clinical toolkit for complex cases.
