The secret to success? Keep showing up! 👊

We have all set health, fitness and nutrition goals. BUT don't start another diet! Don't eliminate your favorite foods or food groups and deprive yourself! Don't spend hours in the gym every single day! Don't cry while staring at the number on the scale, and don't binge on junk food because you've failed at losing weight once again! Diet and deprivation horror stories are awful, and it seems like EVERYONE has one! 🔅

INSTEAD, this week focus on learning how to make being healthy work for YOU and YOUR lifestyle in place of trying to force yourself into a mold that doesn’t work! ⚡️

I have never met a margarita that I didn’t like! But, those regular margaritas can lead to a serious hangover! Plus, why drink a 500-calorie cocktail when you can enjoy a lighter version like this ⬇️ The actual count will vary by recipe, but eight ounces of a standard margarita on the rocks will set you back about 455 calories, while a 12-ounce margarita has about 680 calories.

Using fresh citrus and a touch of stevia instead of a pre-made mixer is going to change the way you drink forever! Ditch the sugar and enjoy Cinco de Mayo with this 100-calorie drink that won’t leave you filled with the morning-after headache! Plus, if you are staying in you only need a handful of ingredients to make this easy peasy Skinny Margarita! 🍋

So what’s the difference between a regular margarita and this low-cal substitute? Make this version and you will taste the difference today and feel the difference tomorrow!

TheF**tChick No-Sugar Added Citrus Margarita:

Step One: Run a wedge of lime around the rim of the glass to wet it!
Step Two: Dip the glass on to a plate full of coarse salt or tajin.
Step Three: In a cocktail shaker add ice, 1 oz tequila, fresh lime juice, fresh lemon juice, and a dash of fresh orange juice!
Step Four: Place the lid on the shaker and shake for about 30 seconds!
Step Five: Strain the liquid into your glas filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge!

Variations:
- Turn this into a watermelon margarita with watermelon puree!
- Turn this into a berry flavored skinny margarita with your berries of choice!
- Turn this into a grapefruit margarita swap the orange juice for freshly squeezed grapefruit instead!
- Make it Spicy! The night before, combine sliced jalapeno with your tequila to infuse the flavor. Remove the jalapeno the next day before using the tequila!

Everyone loves to go out and celebrate with margaritas on Cinco de Mayo, but I wanted to share **tChick secret weapon to a sugar-free cocktail that tastes just like the real thing! Of course there will be margarita specials across thousands of restaurants this time of year, but most people don’t realize that this frozen drink may be among the highest calorie alcoholic beverages you can choose. Laced with sugar and sweet liqueur, just one margarita may contain as many calories as your meal!

One of my favorite alcoholic treats is a blended margarita, and I order them as often as I can. My trick is to order a high quality tequila blended with ice and NOTHING ELSE! Even though the server may think it doesn't sound good, they don’t realize I know exactly what I am getting. When my drink is served I add fresh squeezed lime juice (and some liquid stevia) until it tastes just right. I will never regret having more than one, and I love that it tastes exactly like the real thing! 💜I MISSED MY KID SOOOO MUCH!!💜

🦠It has been SIX FULL days since I last saw my 15-year old! The one in our home who talks the most! The one who talks at meals and loves to chit chat and have endless conversations with me at night! I haven’t had one full out belly laugh with him since Monday! THAT IS A LONG TIME!! And who’s going to clean the dog run?? 😜

📱FaceTime and texting does not take away how hard it is to NOT see your child! Or to know your child is all alone in the next room and there is nothing you can do to help!

🏠 I don’t think people are talking at all about how isolating it can feel to have your child locked away but also just be behind a door! Yes, we left him meals. And yes I am so lucky that he never complained once, and maybe was actually living his best life! 🤣 I don’t think he minded the quarantine life AT ALL! What 15-year old doesn’t want to play video games and watch all day?🕹

🏆 But remember to check in on your friends and your family! Brownie points if you call them daily. Give them something to look forward to, call them to see how they’re doing and ask if there’s anything you can pick up for them. Hearing another person’s voice can provide a sense of familiarity they just may be needing.☎️

🪣🧽Ok-it’s time to go disinfect every part of his room and bathroom! We are so lucky that everyone else in our home stayed healthy! It’s laundry, Lysol, and dishes for me today!🧼🧹

🗓There is something so refreshing about January and the start of a new year! A blank slate means a chance to start thinking about fresh starts, getting ready to begin new habits, and kicking off the New Year with great INTENTIONS. Motivation is a great feeling that can put you on the right path for life-long success.

👉🏼Unfortunately, as of this week, the last traces of self-discipline are fading fast. ONLY 9-14 DAYS into the New Year and 71% of people are already throwing in the towel on their 2022 goals.😳

🤷🏻‍♀️ Can you believe 2 weeks is the amount of time most people will put into their New Year’s Resolutions? If what you are doing seems too tough, you probably picked a diet instead of a real life solution!

🔆 It’s no secret that most people never complete their New Year’s resolutions, so why do so many people fail every year? It is pretty simple. Making a resolution is easy, creating new habits is the hard part!

🌀 If most people never stick with their resolutions; maybe there is a better idea. This year you may have heard to set an intension instead of a resolution. This way you won’t fail! YOU CAN’T FAIL! It is a way to say you are going to do your best to make changes without any guilt or failure!

⚡️ Make sure you set an attainable intension with a plan in place to reach it. There are so many obstacles for losing motivation, so be prepared for when your enthusiasm starts to weaken. Instead of changing your entire diet or fitness program all in one month, make small changes. This will help prevent you from looking for fast results in too little time.

👍🏼 Don’t set yourself up for failure. The point of starting small is to introduce a new set of behaviors that will eventually become habits. Once your new actions become habits, your level of motivation will play a less significant role on whether or not you succeed. In other words, the main goal is making gradual changes that will become part of a healthy lifestyle.

WOAH! 💜 It has been a minute since I have posted on my socials! Maybe you noticed I haven’t been around lately, but it is definitely time to get back at it! I unplugged, I reset, and I am back feeling refreshed and ready for 2022! My true passion in life has always been helping others see that the food they eat directly impacts how they feel and show up in this world.

Unfortunately, weight gain and disordered eating spiked during the stress of the pandemic! One of the many challenges of Covid has been the abrupt change to day-to-day schedules. Weight changes have come with good reason, as people’s diets, activity levels, sleep habits, and daily routines have been turned upside down. 🛏🏋🏾‍♀️🍔

It is definitely time to get back into promoting healthy eating, self-care, and daily movement! Some have said I should have used the last few years to be reminding you of this, but I truly believe most people were in survival mode and didn’t need to see the constant pressures of social media to lose weight or change their lifestyle! At least not from me! 😉

The “quarantine 15” somehow became a running joke in a profoundly unfunny time! The difference between losers, gainers, and maintainers, experts say, is largely dependent on your mind-set; how you approach a new set of circumstances and cope with change! While many people gained weight during the last 22 months, others have used the change in routine to eat better and exercise more! If that was you, be proud! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

After the year we’ve had, we should all be giving ourselves a break! Though the pandemic has hit some of us harder than others, we’ve all been impacted, and it’s important to give ourselves time. 2022 is a year to treat others with kindness and slowly start to be just as kind to yourself! 🌈🦄😇

Well hey there!🌟Since we have a lot of new friends with us, I thought I’d introduce myself and share some fun facts! 😁

💜 I’m Jillian! Just like so many people in the health and fitness industry, I grew up playing sports (mainly tennis) and was surrounded by a HUGE family where diets and workouts were the main focus of EVERY family dinner!

💜 YES, we did the cabbage diet, the 3-day diet, Jenny Craig, and my lunch was filled with weight watcher’s snackers! That wasn’t embarrassing at all in 6th grade! 🤣 BUT, the constant push to lose weight helped me see that I wanted to spend my life helping others remain healthy and never have to “diet” again!

💜 I was first diagnosed with food allergies at 18 years old. I had just headed off to college, and after just a few months I was back home getting examined by every type of gastro doctor you can think of! After barely being able to leave home for a year, they finally figured out I was allergic to wheat, dairy, sugar, oil, and eggs! 😳 I had also been a vegetarian since I was 11! This started a deep dive into dealing into the world of food intolerances, bloating, anemia, and barely being able to live a normal teenage life!

💜 Fast Forward: After 10 years of speaking at conferences and helping teachers learn how to bring health and wellness into the classroom, I decided to launch my own business: TheF**tChick! I offer nutrition coaching, specialize in food allergies and anti-flamatory diets for those with auto immune disorders. I offer Keto and plant-based coaching, and just about everything in between! Let’s taco-bout these ⭐️new⭐️ grain free taco shells from Siete Family Foods! They are even better then I had hoped they would be! 😍😍😍

THESE CHIPS & SHELLS are everything you dream about when it comes to nachos and tacos! 🌮 AND are truly my latest obsession!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

They are made from cassava flour and a few other simple ingredients! And since today IS , they go perfectly with anything you are cooking up!

We are making a buffet with crockpot shredded beef and all the yummy sides!
