Ok Folks-here are a few suggestions and recommendations for the next few weeks/months as far as acupuncture appointments go.
1. Don’t come in if you are feeling under the weather, are running a temperature, or you are in the middle of a family epidemic (husband, wife, kids, entire office) is sick. Common sense, right? Wash your hands! Stay home and rest. Don’t spread your germs. This also applies to the rest of the year, but it’s especially important right now.
2. If you are in a high risk category for complications from the virus(or family members are), feel free to reschedule now or cancel and wait to reschedule until you feel safe in doing so. No problem.
3. Please also give yourself 2 weeks before coming in if you’ve traveled overseas or even out of state. Especially if you’ve flown.
4. Keep me in the loop if you are or aren’t coming in, so I can plan accordingly. I don’t know what kind of guidelines or restrictions the state/medical community will be recommending or initiating moving forward, but I will be operating in accordance with their guidelines.
It’s about playing it safe right now folks, not panicking. If you have questions about whether or not you should come in just give me a call. It’s new territory for all of us and all we can do right now is try and use sound judgement.
