Heritage Woods of DeKalb provides a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence. The community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables us to serve adults 65 and older of all financial means, including those on Medicaid. Our focus is on providing residents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the personal assistance and help with medications that they need. Heritage Woods of DeKalb is managed by Gardant Management Solutions, a mission-driven company that is the largest provider of affordable assisted living in Illinois.

🎃👻Attention all ghouls, goblins, and candy connoisseurs!👻🎃

Heritage Woods of DeKalb is opening its doors for some frightfully fun trick-or-treating on Wednesday, October 30th from 4:30–6:00 PM! 🍬🍫

Bring your little monsters (costumes encouraged, fangs optional 🧛‍♂️) and come fill those candy bags. Our residents are ready to hand out sweets—just don’t be surprised if a ghost beats you to the last Snickers. 😉

Our Candy monster has a big problem... his bucket is EMPTY! 😱 He's begging for donations so our residents can hand out treats to the little ghouls and goblins on our Trick-OR-Treating event.

Help us feed the candy monster by dropping off bags of individually wrapped candy-before he starts eyeing the staff and residents.
