Let’s take a moment to reflect on his dream and think about how we can contribute to making that dream a reality. What a great day of friendly competition and fun!
Our residents had a wonderful time playing a bags tournament against our neighbors at DeKalb County Rehab. The match ended in a tie, proving it was truly anyone’s game. We wrapped up the afternoon the best way possible—with delicious root beer floats and plenty of smiles!

Thank you to DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center for playing with us! We look forward to our match next week and more events in the future!!

Last week we celebrated our staff with a Holiday Party! We are so grateful for each and every one of you and the hard work, compassion, and dedication you bring every single day. Today was full of creativity and smiles as our residents made their very own DIY coasters! From choosing colors to adding personal touches, everyone had a great time expressing themselves! We love activities that spark creativity and make something special to enjoy every day!

Today we hosted a Nurses Coffee Clutch for our nurse residents, and it was such a wonderful time! We enjoyed cupcakes, coffee, and great conversation while celebrating the incredible nurses who have given so much care to others throughout their lives. Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and lifelong service—it was an honor to celebrate you!

We rang in the New Year a little early today with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve party! Our residents enjoyed delicious cupcakes, a colorful confetti bomb, and lots of laughs with silly string flying everywhere! It was the perfect way to celebrate another wonderful year together and welcome the new one with joy, smiles, and a little sparkle. Cheers to 2025! 🥳✨

Our residents worked together to create a beautiful Snowflake Gratitude Wall. Each snowflake represents something they are thankful for, filling our space with positivity, reflection, and winter cheer.

It was a wonderful activity that encouraged gratitude, conversation, and connection—and now our wall shines with meaningful reminders of all the things that matter most. ✨

Celebrated from December 26 to January 1, Kwanzaa emphasizes seven core principles: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. Each night, families light a candle on the kinara, reflecting on these values and sharing stories, songs, and traditional foods.
