So many fun things this weekend!
On Friday, December 1st, from 5:00-7:00 pm dancers from Dimensions Dance Academy will be dancing in the windows of 16 businesses in Downtown DeKalb for the third annual âTinsel Nâ Tutusâ event. Windows will come to life as youth and teens showcase their talents in ballet and en pointe.
To make this night even more magical, shops and establishments have worked hard to offer something for everyone!
*Dimensions Dance Academy will host pictures with the Sugar Plum Fairy, a free bracelet craft to-go, and a jewelry sale fundraiser.
*lindsayrae.me Photography will have a permanent jewelry artist, someone doing Henna, and snacks and drinks for those who stop by to check out her studio.
*Class VI will serve Mulled Wine âto-goâ or you can try a wine and cheese board inside while you warm up.
*Next door at Tapa La Luna you can watch a dancer as you order your favorite cocktail, wine, or beer âto-goâ.
*Robin's Nest Bookshoppe will offer complimentary refreshments while you browse Holiday gifts for the bookworms in your life. Before you leave the Bookshoppe, stop by DeKalb Public Libraryâs table to make a bookmark craft.
*Walk further down to Byers Brewing Company where children can say hello to Santa, while you try their new seasonal beer âHolidays in Barb Cityâ. Order it in a cup âto-goâ! Amy's Art of Faces will be available to create caricatures of your child by offering black and white portraits for $20 or color portraits for $30. Donât leave Byerâs without roasting a Sâmore with Century 21 Circle - DeKalb.
*Ducky's Formal Wear is offering refreshments and 10% off, allowing you the perfect time to pick up your New Yearâs Eve attire.

*Create Health Mobility Clinic is hosting Sophie's Sweets, a local sweets artisan who offers beautiful holiday decorated dipped strawberries. Your kids can decorate their face with Face Painting by Cate Cardella and pick-up a Tinsel Nâ Tutuâs scavenger hunt. Complete each task on the hunt and be entered to win a raffle basket! *Cracker Jax Dekalb will be offering 20% off the entire store for the evening as well as offering a place to warm-up while watching the dancers in the window.
*Pick up a La Calle Kish Water cocktail, or a Saint Nickarita âto-goâ at La Calle Bar & Music Venue while you catch a glimpse of Dimensions Dance Academyâs adult ballroom dancing expo in the window.

*Singers from Stage Coach Players will be traveling through downtown to bring even more Holiday joy!
