The Therapeutic Massage Center Nurturing Mind Body and Spirit Swedish Massage: The main purpose of Swedish massage is relaxation and to stimulate the bodies natural toxin release mechanisms.

Hot Stone Massage: The massage utilizes smooth rocks that are heated to induce greater muscle relaxtion and a feeling of warmth that stimulates muscle tension release. Cold Stone Therapy: For migraine sufferers! Cold stones are placed on specific points on the face, neck and head. These points that trigger migraines are then massage. Myofascial Release: A blend of stretching, massage and myofascial release therapy using hands-on manipulation of the entire body to promote haling an relieve pain. Deep Tissue Massage: Used to release the chronic muscle tension through long strokes, deeper and direct pressure. Pregnancy Massage: Eases stress on weight bearing joints and reduces the pain of labor and child-bearing. Neuromuscular Therapy: specific soft tissue mobilization technique that releases trigger points and spasms. Reiki: A Japanese holistic light touch, energy-based modality. Reiki i simple and produces measurable results in power, light, and love. Craniosacral Therapy: Utilizes a very soft touch; practitioner releases restriction in the craniosacral system to improve the function of the ventral nervous system. Chinese Cupping Massage: Removes the inflammatory products and toxins from the body by cupping. Increases blood circulation which will reduce inflammation and eliminate pain. Reflexology: Considered o be a holistic healing technique used to treat the individual as a whole in order to induce a state of balance and harmony. Ortho-Bionomy: This non-invasive therapy uses gentle movements ad body positions to facilitate the change of stress and pain patterns.

Due to the rising costs associated with operating our center, and in recognition that we have not raised prices in over five years, we must now adjust our rates. This change is essential to ensure we can continue offering you exceptional service and to support our talented therapists.

Starting November 1st 2025 the new rates for swedish massages are:
30 min -$50
45 min -$60
60 min -$80
90 min -$110

Also please remember that some services with select therapists are an additional fee. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued loyalty. Thank you for being a valued part of our community.

On Friday, December 1st, from 5:00-7:00 pm dancers from Dimensions Dance Academy will be dancing in the windows of 16 businesses in Downtown DeKalb for the third annual “Tinsel N’ Tutus” event. Windows will come to life as youth and teens showcase their talents in ballet and en pointe.

To make this night even more magical, shops and establishments have worked hard to offer something for everyone!

*Dimensions Dance Academy will host pictures with the Sugar Plum Fairy, a free bracelet craft to-go, and a jewelry sale fundraiser.

*lindsayrae.me Photography will have a permanent jewelry artist, someone doing Henna, and snacks and drinks for those who stop by to check out her studio.

*Class VI will serve Mulled Wine ‘to-go’ or you can try a wine and cheese board inside while you warm up.

*Next door at Tapa La Luna you can watch a dancer as you order your favorite cocktail, wine, or beer ‘to-go’.

*Robin's Nest Bookshoppe will offer complimentary refreshments while you browse Holiday gifts for the bookworms in your life. Before you leave the Bookshoppe, stop by DeKalb Public Library’s table to make a bookmark craft.

*Walk further down to Byers Brewing Company where children can say hello to Santa, while you try their new seasonal beer ‘Holidays in Barb City’. Order it in a cup ‘to-go’! Amy's Art of Faces will be available to create caricatures of your child by offering black and white portraits for $20 or color portraits for $30. Don’t leave Byer’s without roasting a S’more with Century 21 Circle - DeKalb.

*Ducky's Formal Wear is offering refreshments and 10% off, allowing you the perfect time to pick up your New Year’s Eve attire.
