Combat veteran to Holistic Healer
The Herbal Oracle herself, Dezarae’ Haley, is a disabled combat veteran and mother of four that has found herself on a journey that embraces the power of nature.
Mrs. Haley reached the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Army. She served from June 2002 through July 2006. During her time served to gain several rewards, including the Army Accommodation medal. The Army Accommodation medal was received due to her heroic help in providing first aid and an IV to a solder who had a head wound. She served a deployment to Kosovo in 2003 and Iraq from 2004 - 2005. She left the military to start raising a family that she and her Army Veteran husband decided to have. Her first son was born in 2006.
Mrs. Haley’s son was the force of nature that lead her to complementary alternative medicine — when her son was four months old, plagued with a bad case of eczema. At 22 years old, she did what she was taught to do, go to the doctor. A lot! She found herself desperate to find her son's relief. He had the outbreak on his face, inner elbows, behind the knees, and by his ankles. In 2007, and two months of going to the doctor about his eczema, the doctor recommended giving him a bleach bath. After the appointment, she went grocery shopping at the local Wal-Mart: when a woman approached her in a very cross manner and asked why child services had not taken her child from her. Flabbergasted, she explained it was a medical condition and then left the premises. She went home with the helpless feeling she had and decided that God had given us what we need here on earth; it is time to figure out how to help him herself.
By 2010, Mrs. Haley (Living in Texas at the time), Attended the local farmers market in Lockhart, TX, to share the gifts that she had started creating. Mrs. Haley is humble in everything she does and has not quite gotten the confidence yet to believe in her talents. During one of her market days, she was approached by a woman who stated that she was gifted one of my soap bars from a friend. She proceeded to tell Mrs. Haley that she was going wig shopping due to psoriasis she had been battling after the Chemo and radiation. The creams did not work for her, and she had given up hope until she used the Pine Tarja soap bar she was gifted and found immediate relief. Still, a loyal customer, herself, and many customers to follow will find solace and restored hope in her remedies.
