Friends and Followers of Ford Funeral Service,
We wanted to take the opportunity to say Hi and update you on the transitions at our facility and upcoming on this page. In December of 2024 we, Vincent Friederich & Cliff Pope, owners of Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City, were able to purchase Ford Funeral Service and it’s Candlewood Chapel In Del City. When the opportunity presented itself, we were excited to expand our services further within the Mid-Del area and surrounding communities.
In early May, with the support of Mr. Ford, we re-named Ford Funeral Services to Barnes-Friederich & Pope Funeral Home-Del City and re-named the Chapel to the Ford Chapel. We strongly felt it important to continue the name that established a high standard of service in the Funeral Industry within our community.
If you hold Pre-Arranged service agreements with Ford Funeral Service, Barnes-Friederich & Pope Funeral Home will honor those arrangements, as they were written. You will be receiving letters soon, confirming this, at the address we have on file.
We also wanted to let you know that within the next 30 days we will be transitioning this page to our combined page we share with our Midwest City location. We invite you to follow us on our Barnes-Friederich & Pope Funeral Home combined page to continue receiving updates, information and obituary notices.
