Black women, unfortunately, are less likely to initiate and continue breastfeeding compared to other racial groups. The benefits of breastfeeding are numerous!

I'm grateful I had an amazing village to support me on my journey.

Let's face reality, many of our teens spent hours on Tik Tok. Over the next few days find some fun things for them to do to diminish their disappointment. Invoke their creative sides as well!

It's a great time to inform them that their doctor didn't even have a cellphone until her sophomore year of college, lol. They will overcome this! They are resilient! 😘
