Our journey 🥰 NIKS Medical Spa was founded by sisters Stephanie Garbaczewski, PA-C and Erica Lettow, PA-C with a very intentional vision: to create a medical spa where patient safety, ethical care, and natural results were never secondary to trends or profit.
From the beginning, we knew we wanted to build something different.
In an industry growing rapidly, standards can vary dramatically from one practice to another, and many patients have no idea what is happening behind the scenes when they walk into a med spa. While treatments like Botox, filler, lasers, and skin rejuvenation are often perceived as “fun” or cosmetic, they are still medical procedures that require proper training, emergency preparedness, sterile protocols, and strong medical oversight.
We didn’t want to simply say we prioritize safety — we wanted to prove it.
That is why we voluntarily underwent one of the most rigorous medical evaluations available through QUAD A (AAAASF), becoming the first QUAD A accredited medical spa in California and only the second in the nation.
This extensive process involved an independent review of our emergency preparedness, infection control, medication management, clinical protocols, staff training, and overall patient safety standards. We are incredibly proud to have helped raise the bar for what accredited medical aesthetics can and should look like moving forward.
For us, accreditation was never about a title. It was about accountability, integrity, and creating a practice patients can truly trust.
Because at the end of the day, aesthetics is still medicine. And while beautiful outcomes matter deeply to us, healthy outcomes matter even more.
We are honored to be the first accredited medical spa in California and second in the nation, but what matters most is what that accreditation represents: a commitment to doing things the right way and protecting every patient who walks through our doors.
