Here’s the posture tip nobody’s talking about, and it’s a total game-changer! 🎯

If you’re hunched over editing textbooks all day, forget the gentle yoga - grab your friends for a volleyball game instead!

The secret?

Choose activities that are the complete opposite of your daily routine, both physically AND emotionally.

Desk job keeping you in flexion? Get into extension with surfing, basketball, or any activity that opens up your body.

This isn’t just about movement - it’s about breaking free from your daily patterns to create true postural change.

Ever wonder why your posture feels worse after a mentally draining day? Maybe you’re more hunched over, or your hips are lopsided? 🤔

If you’re a preschool teacher running around with energetic little people, you might want calm and controlled Pilates to reset. If you’re a programmer sitting solo with your coffee cup and computer, then a high-energy group workout would likely hit the spot.

All of us need exercise. Choose something that fits with your life and creates balance within your
nervous system. Otherwise, what’s the point?

Your visits to the chiro are fabulous, but what you do at home between visits matters just as much.

🛏️ Let’s talk about your pillow situation: You need it thin enough so your head and neck aren’t shoved forward when sleeping on your back, but thick enough to prevent neck strain and head tilt while on your side if you’re a side sleeper.

🏋‍♀ Here’s the real game-changer: Forget what you’ve heard about cardio and yoga (yes, really!) - proper weight training is your posture’s best friend.
