Wrapping up the year feeling grateful, proud, and honestly fired up. Moving into our new office was a huge step but none of it happens without this incredible team showing up every day, taking care of patients, and having each other’s backs.

We’re thankful for the trust from our patients, the laughs between appointments, and the growth that pushed us forward.

🎄✨ Penny Pupils’ Final Check-In ✨🎄

It’s time for Penny Pupils to head back to the North Pole after a season full of mischief, monitoring, and keeping a very close eye on the office 👀

From frames and selfies to topography and eye exams, Penny made sure everything stayed festive — and that Santa got a very detailed report.

🖥️ Penny Pupils Takes on Corneal Topography 🖥️👁️

Penny Pupils was spotted today taking a corneal topography — she says she’s keeping an eye out for keratoconus 👀

In simple terms, keratoconus is a condition where the clear front surface of the eye (the cornea) becomes thinner and bulges outward instead of staying round. This can cause blurry or distorted vision and often requires special lenses or close monitoring.

With only a few days left until Christmas, Penny is making sure no detail goes unchecked… even if she’s still pressing buttons she shouldn’t 😏

👁️📸 Penny Pupils Means Business Today 📸👁️

Penny Pupils was spotted closely inspecting the fundus camera, insisting she’s “just doing a quick diabetic eye exam.”
She claims she’s checking for retinopathy… but we’re pretty sure she’s just being extra nosy 👀

Either way, Penny takes retinal health very seriously — especially during the holidays when cookies, candy canes, and cocoa are involved 🍪🍬

Reminder from Penny: even elves need regular eye exams!

We spent yesterday at the H-E-B Feast of Sharing, serving meals and sharing a few laughs with folks from around the community.
It’s easy to get wrapped up in the busy days at the clinic, but today was a good reminder of why we do what we do.
Thankful for our team, thankful for this community, and thankful for the chance to give back.
