A 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that offers prevention and resiliency building workshops and events to adolescents.

Funds raised are used to support individuals and school programs allowing everyone the opportunity to attend workshops and/or programs.

GOTGP's Beauty Inside and Out workshop gives young girls the tools to understand their emotions, build confidence, and embrace who they are – not who the world tells them to be. We have an upcoming workshop for girls aged 9-11 years old.

Reflecting on 2025, Gals on the Go Project has had a HUGE year! Not only did we move into a new space to host community workshops onsite, we also…

~ Won Non-Profit of the Year Award by Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce
~ Founder won Woman of Distinction Award by Women and Girls Fund
~ Had a record-breaking year for Bingo for Bags Fundraiser ($30,000+!!)
~ Hired new staff members to support our growth
~ Hosted 6 Girl Scout workshops (40 scouts)
~ Surpassed goal of reaching 1000 families through our interactive resiliency building workshops
~ Led numerous community workshops, school workshops, and speaking events

And we are anticipating 2026 will be even BIGGER! Together in 2026, we are going to thrive with more workshops, more connections, and more opportunities!

Maybe even a refreshing new look and name for us...

Yesterday, we were able to be at Horizon Elementary School’s Care Night. This was an event for the 3rd-5th grade students and their families to learn about community organizations and get resources. We were happy to be able to talk about how our workshops and programs positively impact the youth in our community. We hope to see some of the students we met yesterday at our upcoming workshops!

Here at Gals on the Go Project, we are all about having fun while promoting self-esteem, self-care, and embracing our unique selves. We have an upcoming workshop on February 13th called Beauty Inside and Out.
