Today we visited Falmouth, Jamaica, and it was impossible not to feel the weight of everything the community has endured in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. The beauty and spirit of the people are still there, but so are the signs of loss damaged homes, struggling families, and places that once felt lively now standing quiet.
Even in the sadness, we saw incredible resilience. Neighbors helping neighbors, small businesses trying to rebuild, and smiles that carried more strength than words could ever express. It reminded us how deeply connected we all are, and how powerful it can be when we show up for one another.
