🌟 Celebrating Our Dedicated Team During National Assisted Living Week! 🌟

Today, we were proud to honor not only the incredible residents who make our community so special, but also the heart and soul of our care — our amazing team members.

👏 Today, we recognize and celebrate those who have dedicated years of compassion, care, and service to our residents. Whether it’s been 1 year or 20 plus years your commitment makes all the difference. 💙

Special recognition was given to our employees with more than five years of service. Woodland Towers is so honored to have more than 20 staff with 5 to 23 years of service. The longevity of our staff speaks volumes to the care they provide and the type of community we call Home.

Your hard work, kindness, and dedication make our community a true home. You are our hero’s each and every day!

National Assisted Living continued with Happy Hour and a performance by our own Chipola H***y Tonk band. There was an immense amount of fun, laughter, entertainment, along with spectacular food and drinks. Here are a few pictures and we will post videos as well. Outstanding work everyone. We certainly know how to have fun, make memories and enjoy the wonder of our community!!
We are so proud of our very own band made up completely of our residence. They have been energetically rehearsing and practicing for more than two months for their debut performance. Who knows what’s next we may take them on the road. 😊

Throughout the week, we’ll be celebrating with special activities, events, and stories that shine a light on the warmth and strength of our assisted living family.

Our favorite animal expert joined us for her monthly program at the Towers!

🐒 Let’s Talk About Monkeys! 🐒
Did you know monkeys are some of the most intelligent and social animals on the planet? With over 260 species, monkeys come in all shapes and sizes — from the tiny pygmy marmoset to the clever and curious capuchin!

🌴 Monkeys live in forests, mountains, and even cities.
🧠 They use tools, learn from each other, and have unique ways of communicating — some even laugh!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Many live in tight-knit family groups, showing love, playfulness, and even teamwork.

Monkeys remind us how important connection, curiosity, and care are — no matter the species.

Woodland Towers is honored to be part of the newest Veterans program in Volusia County,

“Volusia Values Veterans”

We are currently organizing a special fundraiser event to honor and support this program, and we would be truly grateful for your participation.

We are seeking donations of themed baskets (gift items, services, or products) or gift cards to be raffled during our event on Saturday, December 6th. All proceeds go directly toward “Volusia Values Veterans” to benefit our Veterans and show appreciation for their service.
