Professional Counseling Centers offers ASAM 2.5 level partial hospitalization programs in both St. Louis Park and Delano. In this level of care, clients receive 40 hours of group services over 6 days. They reside in sober lodging provided by PCC. Clients practice activities of daily living (budgeting, shopping, cooking, doing laundry) in our lodging program. Our lodging program also escorts clients to at least one community sober support meeting per week.
According to the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Partial Hospitalization programs meet the needs of people with psychiatric or psychological instability. Our programs provide access to addiction medicine and psychiatric nurse practitioners within a week of intake (unless emergency situations require immediate attention). Clients receive group services weekly from two licensed psychologists (LP) and doctoral practicum students in psychology. for the mental health portion of our co-occurring services. We offer a full battery of psychological testing that support clients who may need mental health services (targeted case management, adult mental health rehabilitation services [AMHRS), or assertive community treatment [ACT]) through our parent organization Northern Integrated Health. Our testing reports can be used by case managers to help clients achieve mental health disability status as well.
Dr. Schlutter (the owner) and I review faxes 24-7 through Procentive fax at 952-925-3264. We can reach back quickly with clinical questions and make plans for intake if a referral is accepted.
