✨Sinus Infections✨

A sinus infection (sinusitis) is typically caused by inflammation and blockage of the sinus cavities due to viruses, bacteria, allergies, or structural issues that trap mucus and create an environment where pathogens can grow.

Therapies to help with acute or chronic sinus infections:

-Acupuncture: reduce inflammation, improve sinus drainage, and stimulate circulation

-Red light therapy: promote tissue healing, decrease inflammation, improve blood flow to sinus tissues, and reduce swelling in the nasal passages

YTWLs = one of the simplest (and most underrated) shoulder health drills you can add to your routine.

Named after the arm shapes you create, they target the small but powerful muscles that keep your shoulders strong and pain-free.

What they work:
• Rear delts
• Mid & lower traps
• Rhomboids
• Rotator cuff
• Serratus anterior

Great for: Desk workers, lifters, overhead athletes, swimmers, runners, or anyone with rounded shoulders, neck tension, or cranky shoulders.

How to Perform (Floor or Wall)
• Stand tall or lie face down (option: back against a wall)
• If at wall: keep head, upper back, and hips lightly touching
• Brace core, keep ribs down, neutral spine
• Move arms slowly into Y → T → W →L shapes
• Gently squeeze shoulder blades (don’t shrug)
• If at wall: keep wrists & elbows in contact
• Control the movement — no arching or momentum
• 8–12 reps each shape
Add these 2–3x/week to build stronger, more stable shoulders that actually move the way they’re supposed to.

Shoulder Internal Rotation

This supported movement targets shoulder internal rotation, helping improve mobility of the posterior capsule while the lower body simply assists the motion.

✨ What it does: Gently loads the shoulder into internal rotation to improve capsular mobility and joint control.

✨ How it can help:
• Improves restricted internal rotation
• Supports overhead and pressing mechanics
• Reduces compensations through the neck and upper trap
• Helps restore balanced shoulder mobility

✨Great for:
• Desk workers with limited shoulder rotation
• Lifters struggling with bar path in pressing or bench
• Throwing or rotational athletes
• Clients with posterior shoulder tightness
• Anyone working on shoulder mobility (non-acute, pain-free range)

✨How to do it:
• Stand facing away from a sturdy desk or counter
• Place hands behind you on the surface, fingers pointing outward or slightly back
• Keep elbows softly bent
• Gently rotate your shoulders inward (think: biceps turning toward the floor)
• Slowly bend the knees just enough to increase shoulder internal rotation tension
• Stay tall through the chest — don’t roll forward
• Move in and out of that tension for 8–10 controlled reps
