Fun nutrition based facts about apple picking.

Dwarf apple tree (left): check out the white film on the apple to the left. These dwarf trees were genetically modified to stay short, making it easier to maintain, pick apples, easier to spray pesticides on. The white film is known carcinogens being sprayed on every orchard with dwarf apple trees to avoid worm holes, more fruit yield etc.
Heirloom apple tree (right) :
These are heirloom original unmodified apple trees, the way God created them.
These trees get massive! Like the size of oaks and maples sometimes.
They are not popular these days because they are too tall to spray, apples have some cosmetic blemishes from bugs resulting from no spray, more work to trim, and pick apples, less trees per orchard, less money for the farmer.
The verdict:
-Apples from the popular Dwarf trees have 75% less nutrition than the Heirloom varities.
-Dwarf trees are sprayed with known carcinogens vs blemished looking apples on Heirloom apples
-I picked most of my apples off of the tree to the right , despite some cosmetic blemishes they have 75% more nutrition than a Dwarf apple tree
- American families produce is almost always sprayed with chemicals that cause cancer and this is a great way to see it for your self, and make a change.
--Always pick as many apples as you can on the old tall apple tree!
