Feeling disconnected, anxious and stressed out?
Try this simple grounding technique:
Go outside, take off your shoes, allow your feet to touch the earth.
Close your eyes, and immerse yourself in the natural world that always exists around you.
Take 3 deep slow belly breaths and when exhaling, make a sound.
What are the 5 things you can hear? Label them. Birds singing, air planes up above, etc.
What are the 5 things you can feel?
Label them. Grass on your feet, wind on your skin, etc.
What are the 5 things you can smell?
Label them.
Now open your eyes. What are the 5 things you can see?
Label them
Take 3 deep slow breaths, belly breaths.
Stay here as long as you'd like.
You are now grounded to the earth. Our earth mother provides all that we need, we just need to connect with her to receive.
