Instruction, Classes, & Services available by appointment. My name is Jude Goode and I am the founder and President of Angels of Light Work, a 501(c)(3) corporation. As Angels of Light Work, we help local families in need by providing programs that empower each person to recognize their own inner ability to build safe and healthy futures. While we have made great strides, Angels of Light Work still has a lot to accomplish and we need your help. Our programs run year round to address specific needs in our community. So many of our participants are single parents/caretakers raising the next generation of community members. We organize events to recharge caregivers’ physical and spiritual wellness in ways they cannot access on their own. Many of us take for granted that we are able to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with like-minded people when needed. Yet, the caregivers we serve have the same needs but lack the means to address them. That’s where we come in! We offer the caregivers and their children a variety of healing modalities and vibrant healthy lunches, all with a hint of uplifting possibilities at our events. In the past we’ve also given the families small inspirational gifts (and gift cards for necessities) to empower them in their daily life. As you know, offering any service or product requires resources. We raise funds in a variety of ways including Tricky Trays, raffles, 50/50 drawings, and by contributing a percentage of our proceeds. HOLIDAY GREETINGS DEAR FRIENDS!
More than any other, this season seems to be the perfect time of the year when we so freely open the heart, mind and spirit. Even if only for a short while, most of us love to experience the "Awww" for as long as it can last. Christmas is one of our exciting projects, we would love spending time with you. This coming Sunday, December 7, we begin our holiday celebration with our annual Tricky Tray Fundraiser for single parents & caregivers raising the next generation of our community. See flyer listed below. Angels of Light Work has another amazing gift sharing year with a little of everything. We will be there, now all we need is you. This Sunday, we'll be located on the first floor, in the rear by the stage doors.
We have amazing things that should fit nicely under your tree. And some adventurous outdoor items as well. A few being a DBX Air Hammer Inflation Pump, DBX River Ride 2. The Tricky Tray offers 2 tiers, Door prizes, 50/50 and Grand Prize, a 10 Foot Pelican Kayak.
I hope you will join us in our people needing people world. You may not need something or someone now, but you will. It is our history, only because we make it that way. Please accept our invitation as we begin the holiday with an amazing evening of Candlelight Meditation, with Jen (of Peaceful Yoga in Brodheadsville), sharing inspiration, relaxation, and fun with a serious array of mouthwatering delectables for the table. As we plan our soon to be holiday celebration , let us not forget gratitude of what was, was is, what will be and one another. So remember to bring all your snuggly pillows, mats, blankets. It is safe to be where I am.
I am always in the right place at the right time.
I trust the lessons I am learning and the people I am meeting are a necessary chapter in my life-even if I do not understand the plot yet.
I move through my days one moment at a time, and with a grateful heart.
I trust the wisdom of my body and breath.
It is safe to notice my feelings.
It is safe to practice patience, curiosity, hopefulness and wonder.
When it is time to move on-I will KNOW whole-heartedly and take action from that clear sense of completion.
Until then, I let go of my tendencies towards worry and overthinking.
There is no race for me to run and on benchmark of success for me to complete. I cherish this day, this sky, this mystery, and this ground beneath my feet. Amen

It is absolutely amazing, whatever the need, so planted is the seed.
Are you aware of Grounding or a Grounding Prayer?
A grounding prayer is a type of meditation that brings a person back to the present moment. This is a technique that will help re-orient your mind to the here and now situation. With this meditation, all the overwhelming emotions can be released to help you relax and calm your mind and body.
Grounding is not a common meditation that you may be familiar with. In this meditation, you will be connected with Mother Earth. This is the meditation that will help you achieve a focused mind when it is combined with earthing.
When you are doing this meditation it is better to have your feet connected to the earth, barefoot is the best to make grounding work. When you are grounded your mind an body are brought to a balanced state, which will make you feel like you are connected to Mother Earth. It is peaceful, it is quiet, it is amazing. Learn the benefits of grounding: Minimize anxiety and stress, a sound sleep, boost your happiness, protect your body from electromagnetic fields, and so much more. Check it out, read up on it, be it.

*******MEDITATION********
Since I have placed our Candlelight Healing and Energy Meditation back on our calendar of events, the curious questions have once again begun to steam in...what is Yoga nidra...what is Meditation...in addition to a few other modalities. I have shared somewhat of the yoga-nidra, Meditation, I will give one of the book meanings, and the rest is "you." Meditation is a practice that involves training the mind to focus on the present moment, cultivating inner calmness and awareness. It encompasses a variety of techniques that aim to: Enhance attention - Direct focus on a specific object, sensation or thought. Reduce reactivity - Observing thoughts, and emotions without judgement or attachment. And promote mental clarity - Quieting the mind and achieving a state of inner peace. Meditation can be practiced in many different ways. It is a multifaceted practice that can be adapted to enhance needs and preferences. Does it work??? I could refer you to the Mayo Clinic as an example. But I believe I shall put it back to you. You can be told what to do , but the how to do is your design, your intention. You can do it with the proper guidance. If only we make it a point to be concerned about ourselves as often as we are concerned of others, especially when it should not concern us. What a wonderful world this could be. Jen it an amazing and excellent yoga instructor and consultant. Or if you have someone you have worked with, I suggest you consider this amazing modality . Lets all create a better Me, a better environment a better world. You will be surprised, "when you change the way you look a things, the thing you look at change." Would love to see you on Friday @ the The Historic Castle Inn 7PM - 9PM.
