The body remembers
what the ego tries to skip.

Posture isn’t about standing taller.
It’s about being supported.

When the feet feel the ground,
the spine organizes itself,
and the breath has space —
the nervous system recognizes safety.

Structure creates freedom.

A body that’s aligned doesn’t have to brace.
It can respond.

This is where strength becomes sustainable.

Why we end class this way ❄️🌿

Cold on the face activates the body’s built-in calming reflex
→ heart rate slows
→ stress response shuts down
→ the nervous system gets the signal: you’re safe

This cold input stimulates the vagus nerve, helping the body shift from fight-or-flight into rest-and-repair

Essential oils come next because scent is the fastest route to the nervous system
→ bypasses thinking
→ speaks directly to the emotional + autonomic brain

A lack of empathy toward others is almost always a lack of empathy toward oneself.

When someone is hard on their own humanity, they become hard on everyone else’s.
When a person is disconnected from their own pain, it becomes easy to dismiss someone else’s.
When compassion is refused inward, judgment becomes the default outward.

Every reaction is a reflection.

Freedom isn’t free.

You don’t have to agree with the war to honor the warrior.

The uniform comes off, but the experience doesn’t.

For many, the real battle is the one no one sees.

May we be a nation worthy of their service.

We remember. We honor. We stand with them.

Be aware and cautious…everything you do is wiring your brain.

Every thought, action, and even what you avoid is shaping who you’re becoming.
