HELLO OHIO AND FLORIDA!!

I am Karen Baum MA, LPCC-S, CST with Saving Grace Telehealth Counseling.

I am a licensed clinical counselor in Ohio and also registered to practice in the state of Florida. I work solely through telehealth

Telehealth is a secure, online video. See my website for the pros and cons of telehealth. Many people like it so they can have counseling in the privacy of their home, in a private and empty office at work, or other secure place. No commuting, no stuck traffic, no extra time, and you won’t run into your neighbors.

I specialize in anxiety, couple’s issues, and s*x therapy. Most couples and s*xual issues are best worked on as a couple but if that is not possible, I will also see an individual.

I work with many populations including straight, LGBTQ, first responders and others. You will have a safe space with me.

I specialize in anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, stress, and overthinking. I have had significant training to receive a certification as a s*x therapist with a world renowned organization, AASECT. Some issues I can help are: communication, infidelity, p**n, desire discrepancy, poly relationships, kink, erectile issues, vaginal pain, perimenopause and menopause, anxiety with s*x and more.

Spring Health has launched the Wildfire Mental Health Support Program, committing $500,000 to provide free therapy and community resources for individuals and families affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. This initiative ensures accessible, high-quality mental health care, including virtual therapy sessions for displaced residents, first responders, and vulnerable populations.

How do you spend your dash?

The Dash Poem by Linda Ellis

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on the tombstone
From the beginning...to the end

He noted that first came the date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years

For that dash represents all the time
That they spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved them
Know what that little line is worth

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars...the house...the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So, think about this long and hard.
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering this special dash
Might only last a little while

So, when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash...
