Safe Harbor Peer Support Services

Safe Harbor Peer Support Services Wellness programs at no cost to adults in Delaware and Morrow Counties

Safe Harbor Peer Support Services opened two centers in 2008, to offer help and hope to adults seeking support in their recovery beyond the clinical scope. With support from the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, Safe Harbor began to raise awareness of and combat the stigma around mental health and addiction. Safe Harbor's goal is to increase the level of self-esteem, independence, and quality of life for those who have experienced any type of behavioral health issue. The Safe Harbor community is made up of peers who welcome all and understand their struggles because they have walked in their shoes. With peer support, those with similar experiences:

create a bond that supports learning together

share new ideas and ways of being

break away from the limitations of stigmas...

In Our Own Voice
Safe Harbor Peer Support Services and NAMI invite you to join us for powerful conversations led by individuals with lived experience. Together, we’ll talk openly about what it’s like to live with a mental health condition—and create space for your questions.

📅 Annie’s Outreach Center – Sept 25 | 1–2 PM

Let’s end the stigma around mental illness, one conversation at a time. 💚
