Safe Harbor Peer Support Services

Safe Harbor Peer Support Services AND in Marion & Crawford Counties due to the support of the Crawford Marion ADAMH Board.

Wellness programs provided at no cost to adults in Delaware & Morrow Counties due to the support of the Delaware Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board. Safe Harbor Peer Support Services opened two centers in 2008, to offer help and hope to adults seeking support in their recovery beyond the clinical scope. With support from the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, Safe Harbor began to raise awareness of and combat the stigma around mental health and addiction. Safe Harbor's goal is to increase the level of self-esteem, independence, and quality of life for those who have experienced any type of behavioral health issue. The Safe Harbor community is made up of peers who welcome all and understand their struggles because they have walked in their shoes. With peer support, those with similar experiences:

create a bond that supports learning together

share new ideas and ways of being

break away from the limitations of stigmas...

Men’s Group at Annie’s this week was powerful

The focus was E + R = O (Event + Response = Outcome) — a reminder that while we can’t always control what happens to us, we can control how we respond. The group had meaningful conversations about how our responses to life’s big moments shape the outcomes we experience.

We also explored what it means to think WIN/WIN, approaching situations with purpose, clarity, and intention. Each participant spent time journaling—something we’ll continue building on every week.

Growth, reflection, and connection all in one space.

Come join the fun and be part of the journey at Annie’s Outreach Center!

We also turned up the heat with a Dip‑Off Contest, and the competition did not disappoint. Big congratulations to Chelsea Lusby, who took home the win with her incredible jalapeño popper cheddar dip; a true crowd favorite.
Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating, connecting, and enjoying some delicious food. 💚✨

🌱Our Men’s Group at Annie’s recently planted seedlings of vegetables and flowers that will soon be transferred to our raised garden beds this spring. 🌱🌼 With spring just around the corner, it was a great afternoon of supporting one another while enjoying the simple act of planting seeds and watching something new begin to grow. Everyone had a wonderful time connecting, sharing, and working together! Join us every Wednesday at 10 AM at Annie’s for this Men’s Group. We’d love to have you be part of the conversation and community.
