Our next support group meeting is 2pm Sunday, December 14 at New Beginnings Church! We will give things a little bit of a holiday twist with a gift for everyone and some festive snacks, plus talk about the good and the bad of the upcoming holiday season. This isn't a family holiday party, but simply a regular meeting that's a bit more merry!

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering a Sensory-Friendly holiday light experience for guests to enjoy a select number of attractions of Wildlights during a less stimulating time!

What makes it special? Reduced sounds & limited flashing lights, smaller crowds, sensory kits, and a calming room for quiet breaks!

Admission is FREE to Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Members and $16.99 for non-members but pre-registration is required for everyone!

Join us for the next session in our Supports Through the Lifespan series - a conversation on Project Lifesaver and general safety tips, facilitated by the Delaware County, OHIO, Sheriff's Office.

Project Lifesaver International Headquarters is a program designed to provide peace of mind to family and friends of loved ones who may wander off from their residences. This FREE program is offered to Delaware County residents diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer’s, autism, and other disorders that affect a person’s cognitive abilities.

Join ASCO as we welcome Logan Philipps from Philipps & Graham, LLC for a special Webinar Series focused on planning for the future.

November 4th - Guardianship and Supported Decision-Making

This workshop will provide the opportunity to learn and ask questions about the differences between Guardianship and Supported Decision Making, and to gain an understanding of which option might best suit your needs.

November 11th - Special Needs Trusts, Benefits and STABLE Accounts This workshop will provide the opportunity to learn and ask questions about benefits with STABLE and Trust accounts. A STABLE Account is an investment account available to eligible individuals with disabilities. They allow individuals with disabilities to save and invest money without losing eligibility for certain public benefit programs, like Medicaid, SSI, or SSDI. Logan will talk about how special needs trusts and STABLE accounts can be used together to help plan and provide for the future of an individual with a disability.

Both workshops are FREE and offered via Zoom at 7:00pm. Please feel free to attend one or both!
