SUNDAY DEVOTIONAL🌱📖
“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power . . . to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”
— Ephesians 3:17–18
There’s a hidden strength that forms in the struggle.
In nature, it’s called stress wood—the response a tree has when it faces strong winds or harsh conditions. Rather than breaking, the tree bends and adapts.
Its roots grow deeper.
Its foundation strengthens.
It doesn’t just survive the storm—it thrives because of it.
God often works the same way in our lives.
The pressure, the stretching, the resistance—they aren’t punishments. They’re invitations to grow deeper, to anchor ourselves in the unshakable love of Christ.
Without the resistance, there would be no need for deep roots. And without roots, there can be no lasting fruit.
If you’re in a storm today, let it press you into Him.
Let His love be the soil your soul draws strength from—wide enough to hold your questions,
deep enough to reach your pain, and strong enough to carry you through.
Abundant blessings!
