Our Board led efforts to bring local providers and partners together today for a training session funded by a federal Bipartisan Safer Communities Act grant and presented by Jim Adams, a national expert on crisis prevention, treatment, and recovery.

The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, signed into law in 2022, provides funding to enhance behavioral health system preparedness and response efforts that address the immediate and long-term consequences of tragedies such as natural disasters, targeted violence, and other large-scale traumatic events.

Maryhaven has informed our Board that they plan to discontinue services in Delaware and Morrow Counties, with most services ending by May 15. Our Board is actively planning for this transition and we remain committed to ensuring a strong array of services are readily available in Delaware and Morrow Counties. Current Maryhaven clients can find more information about the transition of care in the link below.

We’re looking for participants to call in or sign up today for our upcoming NAMI Peer-to-Peer program at Annie’s Outreach Center!

NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, 8-session educational program for adults living with mental health conditions who want to better understand themselves and their recovery. Participants may be living with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, or other mental health conditions.
This program is:
✔️ Taught by trained leaders with lived experience
✔️ Includes activities, discussions, and informative videos
✔️ Focused on education and empowerment
(Please note: As with all NAMI programs, it does not include treatment recommendations.)
