We had the privilege of spending Monday morning with the Morrow County Commissioners as they passed a proclamation declaring May to be Mental Health Month. Thank you to our Commissioners and our community partners who attended to show their support!

This year's theme for Mental Health Month is "More Good Days, Together." It encourages us all to reflect on what a “good” day looks like, both for ourselves, and for our communities. Please let this May serve as a reminder to check in—with yourself and with others. Whether it’s reaching out to a friend, taking time to rest, or connecting with professional support, every step matters and we can work together to ensure more "good days."

Throughout this month, we'll be sharing information and tips on how to maintain and improve your mental health, and how to engage others in what may be a time of need for them.

You can find more about Mental Health Month here: https://mhanational.org/mental-health-month/

What a night! We were proud to partner with the Strand Theatre, in conjunction with the Delaware County, OHIO, Sheriff's Office and the Delaware Public Health District, to present Ohio's first screening of What It Takes, a film featuring several first-hand accounts of recovery.

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the panel discussion after the screening. You are helping make recovery possible and reducing stigma in our community!
