Age is just a number. It has no limitations on who you are or what you are capable of. The only limitations you have are those that you set for yourself’
Yesterday at the Old Fort Cluster the Show held a Best Veteran Showcase at the end of the show. Long after Best in Show finished and shortly after Owner Handled Best, about 20 or so Veterans and their long time handlers/owners going around one last time.
Let me just say, this young lady and her trusty Papillon flew around that ring, walker and all. There wasn’t a smile that wasn’t found on each and everyone watching, both in and out of the ring. When Judge Bonnie Linnel Clark awarded the pair Best Veteran in Show, the handler exclaimed, ‘Omg, we won BIS…I might just cry!’ In which Judge Clark chimed back, ‘I’M ALREADY CRYING!’ 😂
Rhea and I are loving our time here at the Old Fort Cluster! We sincerely appreciate everyone that’s come up to us to let us know how happy we’ve added these shows to our schedule. We’re already looking forward to next year!
