Randall C. White, age 70, of Crooks, SD, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:30 AM at West Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Crooks, SD with Rev. Jared Rakness officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Rest Cemetery in Rushmore, MN.

Visitation with family present will be 5-7 pm on Wednesday, July 30th at the church.

Mary Ann Swenson, age 92, of Garretson, SD, died peacefully at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, SD on Sunday, July 20, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Highland Lutheran Church near Sherman, SD. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Highland Lutheran Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Henry G. Fix American Legion Post #23. Visitation with the family present will take place Friday, July 25th from 5 -7 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Garretson, SD. In lieu of flowers, Mary Ann wished memorials to be directed to Highland Lutheran Church or the Sioux Falls VA Health Care Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls.

Amanda Mae Olson-Menning died in her sleep on the morning of June 24, 2025 and earned her wings in heaven. A public visitation with family present will be from 5-7:00 PM Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Baltic. A private family memorial service will take place on Saturday, July 19, at Baltic Lutheran Church.

Roxanne Linnae Boen Hamilton, age 71, of Plymouth, MN, formerly, of Colton, SD, passed away on July 2, 2025. A Celebration of Roxie’s life will be held at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church, 17205 County Road 6, Plymouth MN 55447 on Saturday July 12th. Visitation begins at 10:00AM, with the Celebration beginning at 11:00AM.

A graveside service will begin at 1:00 PM Monday, July 14, 2025, at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Colton, SD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church or to North Memorial Health Foundation, Cancer Center.

Gordon (Gordy) Duane Aaker, age 84, of Garretson, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at Avera Hospital. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Minnehaha Funeral Home, Garretson. A graveside service will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Palisade Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Garretson, Rock County, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers and plants, the family invites you to honor Gordy’s memory by sharing a story, enjoying a morning coffee with friends, or visiting Devils Gulch to hear the legend he so loved to tell.

Marian Gustafson, age 93, died peacefully in hospice care at Ava’s House in Sioux Falls, SD, on Friday July 4, 2025.

Memorial Service will be held Friday July 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Colton SD, with Pastor Susan Jennys officiating. Burial will take place prior to the service at 11:00 AM at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.

Visitation with family present will be Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5-7 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Dell Rapids SD.

Harold A. Swenson, age 69, of Brandon, SD, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025 at his home in Brandon.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Swedona Evangelical Covenant Church rural Brandon, SD with Pastor Mick Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at the Swedona Church Cemetery. Military rites offered by the Sioux Falls American Legion Post 15 Honor Guard. A time to greet the family will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church on Saturday.

Visitation with family present will be Sunday, June 22nd from 5-7:00 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Colton, SD.
