Our next Vivistim Therapy for Stroke Recovery screening will take place on Tuesday, March 17th from 8:30 - 12:30 at our clinic at 99 Delaware Ave in Delmar. Last week, AMC Outpatient Therapy held their first annual Chili & Soup Cookoff. Staff brought their best homemade recipes and after plenty of taste-testing and voting, Andrea Hughes, PTA was crowned the winner for best soup and Carmen Nightingale, PT, DPT the winner for both best chili and spiciest dish. Meet Abby Yereance, one of our Patient Service Associates. Abby joined the team in August 2025 with a background in Health Science and Policy from Siena College. Abby brings a consistently positive presence to our clinic. She is always smiling, attentive, and proactive, going above and beyond to support both patients and therapists.
Her favorite part of working in an outpatient therapy office? Watching patients make real progress and get better through treatment.
Fun fact: Abby comes from the well-known D’Addario family of guitar string makers!

One of our favorite tools are BlazePods, which are interactive devices shown in the video below that turn therapy into an engaging experience. BlazePods help improve reaction time, can help with balance, coordination, and agility, as well as cognition and memory. Whether we’re working on injury recovery, fall prevention, or everyday functional tasks, this technology allows us to customize treatment, track progress, and challenge patients in a valuable way.
