Don’t overlook something that’s right in front you. Unload your past so you can see your present. Sometimes you have emotionally declutter as well as physically declutter, in order to move forward.

Good Morning,

As I think about today, I think about being a mom, daughter, sister, best friend, and confidant. So many of my closest people are struggling through something. I have had calls about depression, domestic violence, cancer, and separation. I think to myself when do we get a break, when do we just support each and allow our hearts to heal. I keep saying what is missing in my life, what is my purpose, but I don’t question the path I am because I am on it for a reason. i continue to support, listen and help those who just need someone to listen and be an impartial party. We all have something going on in our lives and sometimes the best encouragement is just listening. You never know what someone is going through, smile and love one another and do it with unconditional heart. Peace, Love, and Blessing- SLM

You never know what someone is going through so just be nice. Today my employee came to me and said that you for the real talk in our meeting, it gave me a new outlook on my role! Confirmation that mentoring someone is so important. Just because I maybe in charge doesn’t mean i need to use my power for evil, but to help someone recognize their own calling and how much better they can do it!
Maybe Mentoring is an option. We need to encourage our Women! We got this! Peace, Love, and Blessings! ~SLM #

Today in the life of Director....

I always told myself if I ever became the Director I would be real with my staff...well today we two good conversations one about leadership and one about teaching. The paperwork has becomes more and the teaching become less. How do we get back to the books but still prove our students are learning without having to prove it on paper, but through our practice!

If a teacher is reading this what do you do to keep your creative juices flowing?

How do you manage all the paperwork demands?

What has been you favorite teachable moment this year?

I hope everyone has a good week and no matter what we became Teachers because we have a passion for education. Our students need us❤️
