🌸 Pelvic pain is NOT normal 🌸

Whether it shows up as internal pelvic pain or vulvar pain, it can affect your ability to sit, exercise, enjoy intimacy, or even just get through the day comfortably. Too often, women are told to “just deal with it” or assume nothing can be done.

👉 The truth? Pelvic pain is your body’s signal that something is off—whether that’s muscle tension, nerve sensitivity, scar tissue, or coordination issues in the pelvic floor.

đź’ˇ This is where a pelvic floor physical therapist comes in.
We specialize in:
✔️ Assessing the muscles, nerves, and movement patterns of the pelvic region
✔️ Helping reduce pain through gentle hands-on care, exercises, and lifestyle strategies
✔️ Restoring function so you can move, live, and thrive without constant discomfort

✨ You deserve to feel comfortable and confident in your body. Pelvic pain is common, but it’s never something you should ignore.

📲 If pelvic pain has been holding you back, reach out today—we can help you find relief and get back to the activities you love!

Invest Now, Save Later

âś… Prevent unnecessary imaging, medications, and surgeries
âś… Reduce the risk of re-injury
âś… Stay active and independent for longer
âś… Improve your overall quality of life

Wearing one of my favorite shirts today:
“Ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.”

It’s funny, sure. But it’s also uncomfortably true.

We’re living in a world where movement has become optional, screens dominate our day, and health advice is being filtered through AI (yes—even your future doctors are cramming with ChatGPT 👀). I’m not against it—tech has its place—but no algorithm is going to squat for you, fuel you properly, or fix your aching back.

This shirt? It’s a call-out.
A wake-up.
A reminder that YOU are the first line of defense when it comes to your health.

âś… Move your body
âś… Nourish it well
âś… Challenge it often
âś… Care for it mentally and spiritually

And if you’re not sure where to start—or if pain, stiffness, or lack of know-how is holding you back—come see me. Let’s get you evaluated and on a plan to take care of the only body you’ve got!

Get up. Get moving. Let’s do this.

Ever notice how little kids can fold themselves into the tiniest positions without a second thought? 🍓🧸 Squatting, sitting cross-legged, crawling into any space—no warm-up needed.

That natural mobility isn’t magic—it’s how we’re designed to move. But somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we start to lose that range. Why?

Here’s the science:
➡️ Aging leads to decreased elasticity in muscles and connective tissues (collagen production slows down).
➡️ Joint surfaces begin to degenerate if they’re not regularly taken through full range.
➡️ Neuromuscular control declines, meaning the brain loses efficient communication with muscles.
➡️ And finally, we stop using the positions we want to keep. Use it or lose it is very real.

🔑 The good news? This isn’t inevitable. It’s not about age—it’s about use. You can train to restore and maintain mobility. That means spending time in deep squats, reaching overhead, getting on and off the floor, rotating your spine—all things your body was built to do, even in your 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond.

If you want to stay independent and functional in later decades, mobility isn’t optional.
It’s the foundation.

So today, move like your future depends on it—because it does. 🙌

Pictured are just a couple of my favorite littles in my life ❤️ Send me all your littles getting into the tiniest positions! 🫶🏻

Last night’s pelvic floor workshop was impactful. Literally. We talked a ton about the pelvic floor and its impact on our lives.

We dove deep into everything from the belly button down to the thighs—breaking down the pelvic floor, what it actually is, and how it shows up in our strength, movement, and everyday life.

This workshop was designed to educate, empower, and bridge the gap between what we often feel in our bodies and what we understand about them. We tackled some big myths, shared real-life insight, and gave tools you can use to start caring for your pelvic floor in ways that go far beyond a few kegels.

Workshops like these are meant to serve as a resource for anyone wanting to understand their body better—and last night proved just how needed these conversations are.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to connect, learn, and move toward a stronger, more informed you đź’Ş

Ever wonder what cupping with movement actually does?

This is called myofascial decompression — a technique that lifts and separates the tissue layers, increases blood flow, and helps reveal those hidden fascial restrictions that could be limiting your mobility or driving your pain.

🎯 By actively moving with the cups on, we can:
• Improve tissue efficiency and capacity
• Target deeper, stuck areas of fascia
• Identify spots where your body may be compensating or breaking down

đź‘€ What we see during cupping matters.
When the tissue pulls up smoothly, you get a nice, soft, rounded red “bulb.” But when we see dimpling, uneven pulling, or cups being tugged downward — that’s a visual sign of fascial tension or restriction.
These micro-imbalances can point us to areas where tissue isn’t gliding well — often correlating with discomfort, tightness, or pain patterns you’ve been noticing.

✨ It’s not just about bruises or trendy marks — it’s about using movement and visuals to better understand what your body’s trying to tell us.

👉 Remember, cupping is just one tool. A full evaluation and personalized plan of care is what truly delivers long-term change — not just relief, but real results.
