In a world that constantly demands more from us, finding rest and managing stress can feel impossible. Yet, the Bible calls us to a different way of living—one rooted in peace. A verse that has been a great anchor for me is: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, NIV). This promise reminds us that true rest is a gift, and it’s essential for our holistic healing and well-being.

Our own health took a backseat during Ana's fight, but we saw how even small nutritional changes made a massive difference. Now we're applying everything we learned to our own family reboot. The body you want is waiting. The energy you crave is waiting.

The pain of knowing you need to get healthy but not knowing where to start is real. The solution is following the proven principles we learned from our own transformation. Our health journey is also a part of God's larger plan for our lives.

This perspective is reflected in the verse: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV).

That moment in the hospital cafeteria when I realized I couldn't remember the last time I'd eaten something that wasn't from a vending machine or drive-thru.

I was exhausted. Depleted. Running on nothing but coffee and fear.

For months while supporting Ana through her challenges, my own health became an afterthought. Late nights, quick meals standing up, skipped workouts... sound familiar?

I still remember the day everything changed. Not the day Ana got sick, but the day we realized her healing had begun. ✨

Between the beeping monitors and sleepless nights, I discovered something unexpected – the profound power of nutrition and how it affects everything.

The doctors were actually shocked. "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it," they said, watching her vitals improve after we started implementing strategic nutrition changes.

I thought strength meant never breaking down. Until I had no choice... 🌟

18 months in and out of hospital rooms. 18 months watching my daughter Ana fight heart problems that no child should ever face. 18 months of wondering if today would be better or worse than yesterday.

In those sterile hospital hallways, I learned what true strength actually looks like. It isn't about never faltering. It's about continuing to show up even when you're terrified. ❤️

Some days, the only victory was that I remembered to eat lunch. Other days, the victory was finding a moment to smile despite everything crumbling around us.

18 months. That's how long our family stood in the storm while our daughter Ana fought through severe heart problems and two open heart surgeries.

In those hospital rooms, watching machines keep our baby girl alive, I learned what really matters. And somewhere between the beeping monitors and sleepless nights, I discovered something unexpected – the profound power of nutrition and how it affects everything.

The doctors were amazed when we started implementing strategic nutrition changes for Ana's recovery. So much so that they asked me to share what I'd learned with other heart parents. ❤️
While supporting Ana, our own health took a backseat. Now it's time to REBOOT. RESTORE. RESTART. ✨

That's why we packed up everything and moved to Texas – to be near our new grandbaby and reunite our family after this storm. A fresh start in every sense.
