Not sure if it's a Florida thing, but I see a ton of concussions! 😵‍💫 Kids are super active and accidents happen. Did you know that a new study shows that if you give your child tylenol or motrin after a concussion, it can shorten their recovery? Best if given within the first 24 hours.

As you send your children off to college - a reminder:

If anything happens to your child and they are incapacitated/drunk, YOU want to be the ones making medical decisions on their behalf or at least informed of what's going on! Please get a Power of Attorney! Get one for the state in which your live, and if your child goes out of state, a free one is given to you through the Mama Bear site, as well. You will need to have the out of state form notarized. HIPAA regulations may prevent doctors from speaking to you about your child. It literally takes 5 minutes to fill out and it includes a HIPAA release. Please make sure your child tells their roommate/trusted friend that they have this form, but parents can also show it to the hospital.
