What can we do about declining bee populations? Three studies suggest that we 1) ban neonicotinoid pesticides, and 2) eat grass-fed beef.

As reported in the New York Times, two experiments -- one in Britain, one in France -- indicated that neonicotinoid pesticides (a "neuro-active insecticide related to ni****ne" that is used on "virtually all corn grown in the United States") "fog" honeybee brains, make it harder for them to find their way home, prevent them from supplying their hives with enough food to produce new queens, and make them more susceptible to disease:
