Our Philosophy
Acupuncture Advantage in downtown Boca Raton is part of a growing movement called Community Acupuncture which is expanding around the country to bring acupuncture back to its roots and back to the community. Our mission is to make acupuncture available and affordable. We offer acupuncture in a traditional group setting using a pay-what-you-can policy, so you can have the advantage of feeling better sooner. If cost is not an issue for you, you can feel good about becoming a patient here as you will be supporting the efforts of Acupuncture Advantage to bring quality care to everyone. What is Community Acupuncture?
Beyond our Community Acupuncture clinic here in Boca Raton, a growing number of similarly structured clinics have launched across the US and abroad through the efforts of the People's Organization for Community Acupuncture (POCA). POCA is a cooperative of practitioners, patients and supporters whose goal is to make acupuncture more affordable and accessible by promoting the Community Acupuncture business/clinic model. Meredith Vorrath

Meredith Vorrath first became interested in alternative medicine while she was working at a supplement store in high school. Inspired by the improvement customers saw in their health by taking vitamins and herbs; she was interested in finding a career that would provide the opportunity to help people without surgery or pharmaceuticals.
She eventually found acupuncture and oriental medicine and was impressed with the healing effects and its wide range of application. She attended the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and a Master’s in Oriental Medicine.
She previously worked in Wellington for 3 years before transitioning to community style acupuncture at TCCA in Stuart for about a year and a half. She has opened Boynton Beach Community Acupuncture at the encouragement of Garrett Krause and was asked a year later if she would take over his own clinic, Acupuncture Advantage of Boca.
Meredith has a hunger for learning and is constantly expanding and adding to her medical knowledge. She has committed herself to providing the highest quality healthcare possible in a friendly and relaxed environment.
