The difference between being able to wear mascara and not. surgery is meant to be subtle and refreshing. It opens your eyes without giving you the deer in headlights look.

It’s also super important to understand there’s a difference between brow skin and hooding, as well as upper eyelid skin.

Here you see how by removing the upper eyelid skin we can remove the excess that’s weighing her lid down, improve their contour, and more importantly - allow her to wear make up without smudging it all over the place 😉

Natural, beautiful results.

Incisions!!! People asking me about that story I posted. So here she is at 6 days (that’s normally when I like to take stitches out 🤫).

Looking good. A little swollen and puffy. Other side a little bruised. But we can already see the pencil thin line that will fade over the next few weeks. She’s gonna do 🤩!!!

Selfie Saturday on a Monday! I love when you can really see the overall balance of what a does for the face. It rejuvenates, softens, makes it seem more approachable (I know so cheesy), etc etc etc. she’s only 9 days out but healing very nicely and following instructions (you’d be surprised at how many people de use to just “wing it” on the post op - it drives me bananas).

Anyways, . She’s gonna look spectacular once she’s all healed up.

Question guys always have when talking about aging face procedures - “is there something that I can do without getting a facelift” (some guys hate that term) and “the only thing that bothers me is that turkey gobbler doc”.

I had posted earlier about a direct neck lift and how good of an option that is - in the right patient. The incision is what worries people the most. It’s down the middle of the neck, so visible, etc. but when you break that scar up and help camouflage it with a few well placed zig zags....it just blends into thr natural contours of the neck.

Amazing what a little lift and revision rhino will do for ya. Here I did an extended to pick the cheeks up and tighten the neck. Due to her lack of cartilage for support, we used cadaveric rib cartilage to help reconstruct her nose and improve her breathing. Overall she still looks like herself, just a little more polished and a little fresher. I love how she looks and more importantly....so does she 😉

Oh I needed to add some content to this timeline. Let’s get back to the tried and true. follow up day. I normally see my surgeries from the day before. Here are 3 of them (forgot to take picture of one of them 😬). A little bruised and swollen, but overall all gonna look 🤩. One of them is also a . Up close for those that always ask me about it. Anyways...enjoy ya friday my friends 😉

Direct neck lift! Or executive neck lift as some call it. So what is this? It’s an awesome option for men. Basically it treats that 🦃 gobble that sits right down the midline. Some men are concerned that a face and neck lift may “change” their look too much. Really the only thing that bothers them is “this thing sitting in top of my shirt collars”. So in those cases, we literally just excise that excess skin down the middle. Once the skin is open, we de-fat the neck, lift the platysma muscle, clean that out, do a , and bring thr skin back together. To camouflage the we do a bunch of z-plasties which re-orient the scar. Bc it’s a broken line, it’s hard for the eye to pick up. Hair follicles in the neck help ensure good healing and help things hide as well 😉. Anyways, great option for the guy who doesn’t want to change too much, but haaaaates their neck.

2 weeks after a and along with a and a scar revision. Patient is obviously a little swollen and bruised (thank you brow lift 😂) but overall for the weeks you can already see that jawline showing itself. It only gets better and better from here 😀

Serious business on Fridays when is in to see the post ops and check on dads work from the day before. He’s also the closer when it comes to consults. People don’t realize what a great salesman he is. He may seem lazy, and as though he’s sleeping (or trying to sneak off into the kitchen for food 🤨) but he’s busy behind the scenes working with Lauren to get people appointments. True story. All of that is true. Ok maybe just the lazy and sneaking off to the kitchen part 😂

Ooooo selfie Wednesday! (Is that a thing? 😂). So here’s something someone a lot of people ask for...

1- ethnic patient skin. Here she is at 4 weeks-ish. Incision is settling nicely, still a little colored which is to be expected. But that settles down in time. However it is sitting nicely in the natural shadow of the nose so as it heals it will be hidden 🪄 by the natural contours of the nose.

2- nose changes. This patient actually did a GREAT job taking similar pics at similar distance with same focal length. I suck at this. She knocked it out of the park. But you can see that there is no change. In general, nasal changes are EXCEEDINGLY rare. Mostly limited to patients who have had MULTIPLE rhinos with severe tip work.

3- lip swelling and pout. As the lips heal, the middle stays swollen the longest. But as that goes down you see the designed roll of the lip. Overall a super pretty shape and harmony to the overall aesthetic of the face.

Any other questions fire away 😉
